CORE COMPETENCIES Overlay is a sustainable and proven temporary infrastructure model which is a vital part of any major event, ensuring host cities can offer audiences spectacular experiences without being left with expensive unused venues when the games come to a close. Whether the requirement is for the construction of entire temporary venues or temporary elements to enhance existing locations, Arena Group has the products, skills and expertise to meet the brief. There are two levels of service; commodity supply and installation or full turnkey management where Arena Group works alongside organising committees and architects to bring their vision to life, handling every element from feasibility and budgets to procurement and installation.

CASE STUDY LONDON 2012, BEACH VOLLEYBALL STADIUM Arena Group was contracted by LOCOG to provide every element of the overlay and project management across the historically-sensitive locations of Horse Guards Parade (beach volleyball), The Mall (marathons, road cycling races, race walk, athletes’ parade) and St James’ Park (volleyball practice courts). • 32 acre site • 42 day build time • 15,000 seat stadium built using clearview™ seating system • 20km of cables • 152 tents • 29,947m of trackway • 180 cabins • 3,483 trucks • 121,713m of scaffolding • 18,000 seats • 4,605m of fencing • 150,000 man hours

CASE STUDY FIFA WORLD CUP 2014 Arena Group supplied 5,000 of its clearview™ seats for the Arena Fonte Nova stadium in Bahia, Salvador ahead of 2013’s Confederations Cup. Proving the true flexibility and sustainability of temporary infrastructure these seats were then removed after the tournament and re-used at the Brazilian Grand Prix and Rio Open. The system is now being reinstalled back into the Arena Fonte Nova ahead of this year’s World Cup. Arena Group has also worked with its trusted Brazilian partners to supply 20,000 clearview™ seats for the Corinthians Stadium, creating two temporary grandstands at either end of the stadium.

CASE STUDY SOCHI 2014 WINTER OLYMPICS Arena Group worked with local supply partners across the mountain and coastal clusters at the Sochi 2014 Olympics, installing bespoke scaffolding structures to allow the global media to capture the winter sports in all their glory. • 130 structures • 13 venues • Mountain and coastal clusters • Camera and media platforms • Wheelchair access platforms • Cable and service bridges • Highest media platform built at 213m high • On site since September 2013 • Full project management
