coach hammer’s view: “Brett’s our only captain this year. He has improved his understanding of how to play the game and, over the last two years, he’s been committed to building up his strength and endurance. Brett averaged 10.9 points-per-game last year and was our best 3-point threat; he also led the team in free throw percentage at 86%. We’d like to see Brett increase his scoring in the 14-to-16 ppg range this year, and with that continue to be a voice in the locker room and on the court that will help our younger players develop.”

I am surrounded by great people, both on and off the court, who genuinely care about those around them. The best times with my teammates have taken place during team meals and at the Wege Cafeteria where we have stayed well past closing hours to have “round table” talks. My years spent with the Aquinas basketball program have provided me with a family away from home and I will always be grateful for these experiences.
