Note: Online reviews were mixed--some felt Jane and Mr. Rochester (who are absent for most of the story) didn’t ring true, but found Janet’s storyline engaging. Bottom line: if you are a die-hard fan of the original, you might want to skip it. Otherwise, many felt it was a nice read.
