I was born in 1992 and grew up in Lyon, France. When I was a child, my mother would always make sure that I have a sketchbook and a few felt pens in my backpack so that I never get bored. From my 1st drawing, I was obsessed with women silhouettes, I was fascinated by female garments because I thought women could enjoy so many frivolities. I wanted to become a fashion designer. Years have passed. I graduated from high school in Sciences but this child dream strangely endured. I decided to give it a try. After 4 years in the Antwerp Royal Academy all !"#$%&'(#)*+,*-&.-#%*/.#012+#*2*"3 However a deep, concrete passion for fashion design %*-#4.5'*$.(#,%.!#2%&'.#6#2*-#(&-$1/.4&+7##8.'(-#1)#,%&-# profession I would never have imagined. Before I left on a summer trip to Lebanon to visit a few friends, people around me were worried about the recent war and the political tensions there. Therefore I was suprised to discover the extreme lightness of being in Beirut where people only will to enjoy life. Later, I understood it was their way of making reality more bearable to forget about the soldiers and the tanks on the streets, the bullet marks in the walls. Their situation is so chaotic that they never take the time to heal their wounds and prefer to bury them into the sea, like they did with the ruins of the 2006 bombings. The collection is built in contrasts on this bittersweet atmosphere. References to war such as weapons, camo net, camo print, bulletproof /.-,-#14#?.)8.)# are mixed with eastern glamour elements like long silk dresses, drapings and rhinestones. Both cynical and ambiguous, this collection is a hommage to this Beirut â&#x20AC;&#x153;lost generationâ&#x20AC;?.

This is a unisexe collection designed for 4 teenage boys and 4 teenage girls. I wanted to create a daring teenager urban tribe as a reaction against fashion and entertainment industries that push teenagers into adulthood too early and turns them into su5.48$&*'@#%1!17.+.1:-#9.&+7-3 The colours are inspired from a trip to Thailand where they have a taste for very saturate tones and the black and white patterns are inspired by Malick Sidibé’s photography work. The shapes are mostly coming from “ethnical” sources, like the Long-Horn Miao and Karen tribes, which are combined to some street wear references. The garments are both hiding and showing off the person that wears them. With this collection, I wished to inspire these teenagers to take the time to explore and build up their personality before becoming adults.

The dress was inspired by a woman that ran across the street with her coat on her head one of those rainy days in Belgium. It was made of popeline and embellished with lace laser cuts and â&#x20AC;&#x153;stitchlikeâ&#x20AC;? applications of ribbons.
