Track listings of what’s on the CD. Bonus material. o The artist for this digipak is Nickleback, we have also analysed their music video. This digipak brands them as more of a rock band with music which you can listen to whenever, it’s not just happy or sad, their branded as a rock and roll band for everyone to enjoy. o The digipak has 4 sides and is reasonably simple, I think this band has chosen to do this because it goes well with the songs, the imagery they’ve chosen goes well with the title For example, ‘The long road’ and the image of a bride connect well together. o Their Digipak is targeting their audience well as it is more sophisticated, there's no t millions of colours and it is more relaxed. I think the message this cover gives to the audience is that the songs on this are about a journey hence the title ‘The long road’ and the picture of a bridge. The image of the band also brands them as more a relaxed band as the way the are sitting is how they may sit if they were at their own homes, this may be done to connote when listening to this band you will feel relaxed. o For our digipak my partner and I are going to take the idea of simple colours as it will work well with out target audience and meaning of the songs on our track list.

o This digipak is a very different one compared to the Nickleback digipak this by Laura Marling, who’s video we have also analysed, consists mainly of just an image which continues though-out. By this digipak alone Laura is branded as almost a fairy tale world and like her music is more a sense of her imagination, which may draw in her audience more as this may be her personality. o This digipak has 4 sides and again is reasonably simple, I think the image she has chosen goes well with how Laura is shown and how she shows herself, as this image is like a drawing or a doodle someone may do at school. o This digipak is targeting her main audience this is being done by the imagery and the thanks' given which may make her audience think she's a nicer person. With the image and the thanks put together it brands Laura as a nice kind person who her audience may relate too. o For the digipak me and my partner are doing I think the yellows and the idea of one main image being used and continued though out is something we are going to try and do.

o The artist for this digipak is Kelly Rowland who’s video we have also analysed. This digipak brands her as more of a serious artist the picture, how it has been shot of her looking into a mirror could even connote that the songs are a reflection of herself. The natural vibe may be to brand her as a natural artist. o The digipak has 4 sides and is reasonably simple, I think this has been done this way because it goes well with the songs, the imagery she has chosen to include is very simple also, by just having a picture of her I think this connects well with the audience as it is not busy and cluttered. o Her Digipak is targeting their audience well as it is more sophisticated, there's not millions of colours and it is more relaxed by just including bright and pastel colours. I think the message this cover gives to the audience is that the songs on this are about a journey hence and looking into herself hence the title ‘simply deep’ and the image of herself. By the image and the title ‘simply deep’ put together it reinforces that she may be writing songs looking deeply into herself. o For the digipak me and my partner are going to take the idea of simple colours as it will work well with out target audience and meaning of the songs on our track list, we will also try and include all of the stuff like websites, producers and credits for example.
