Medcamps at Camp Alabama endorsed our Arch 335 Design Build Studio, allowing us to construct an amphitheater at the entrance and exit of a renowned disabled summer camp. Inspired by the campers’ transformative journey, represented by the metaphorical metamorphosis from caterpillars to butterflies, our project, named “Imago,” symbolizes the final stage of this process. Imago serves as a 1,500 sq ft. multi functional space anchored in a child-centric ethos, featuring ADA-compliant amenities such as a fire pit, firewood storage, and ramp access. The dynamic roof design, painted red underneath, signifies the inherent fierceness of individual talents. Positioned at the water’s edge, Imago stands as a beacon of support for children, providing a symbol of encouragement as they embark on their trans-formative experiences at the camp.

Mike Mcswain Intern Work During my internship at Mike McSwain Architect, I had the unique opportunity to gain comprehensive insights into every facet of firm operations. Initially entrusted with modeling tasks, through out the weeks working I earned the privilege to handle more intricate responsibilities. I received extensive education on various aspects of firm work, and this portfolio showcases specific hands-on projects for which I held responsibility. These projects spanned from equipment scheduling for a bar, a retail store remodel, to the design of a newly conceptualized military lounge.
