Wada wielokrotnie inspirował się poezją: tak jest w przypadku filmu „Dancer of Vermicular” na podstawie wiersza Kenji Miyazawy z małym lśniącym robaczkiem oraz filmu „A Whistle” na podstawie Sakutaro Hagiwary, gdzie mówi się o tym, że dziecko i dorosły mają zgoła odmienne problemy. Dziwny związek dziecka i dorosłych stał się tematem kolejnego filmu, „The Thing of Rotation of Child” (dlaczego ta dziewczynka nie przestaje się obracać?). Z kolei zapytany o przedmiot, Wada odpowiada w swoim filmie: „Well, That’s Glasses” (czyli jaki jest koń, każdy widzi), wyrażając tym samym wszystko: materiał, źródło pochodzenia, znaczenie czy wartość. W filmie „In a Pig’s Eye”, Wada opowiada historię ogromnej świni, która wyleguje się nieprzerwanie naprzeciwko domu zamieszkiwanego przez pewną rodzinę. Pokazuje, że punkt widzenia zmienia się w zależności od tego, po której stronie muru się znajdujesz. Film został nagrodzony podczas festiwalu Fantoche w Szwajcarii, Etiuda i Anima w Polsce, Media Arts Festival w Japonii i innych.

Trudno opowiedzieć w kilku słowach, o czym są filmy Wady. Abstrakcyjny sposób myślenia i specyficzne poczucie humoru wyróżniają jego twórczość i styl. Czasem autor podziwia piękno natury. W filmie „Gentle Whistle, Bird and Stone” przekonuje z przymrużeniem oka, że mimo całego zła, które dzieje się wokół nas, przynajmniej trzy są nam przyjazne – to tytułowe gwizdanie, ptak i kamień. It’s difficult to describe what Wada’s films are about, but his abstract way of thinking and specific sense of humour make them remarkable. Sometimes he enjoys the beauty of nature. In “Gentle Whistle, Bird, and Stone”, Wada says with a smile, that apart of bad things happen around you, there are at least three gentle ones. Other film, “The Mechanism of Spring”, shows the excitement which spring brings. Criticizing society, Wada announced a “Day of Nose” where noses are used for a special way of communica-
tion. “A Clerk in Charge” presents the most important things any clerk should do – his job and his duties, of course. Wada often searches for the inspiration in the poems – “Dancer of Vermicular”, featuring a shiny little worm, based on a poem by Kenji Miyazawa and “A Whistle”, based on a poem by Sakutaro Hagiwara. The latter points out that a child and an adult have such different troubles. But weird relationship between child and adults was also a main theme of another film, “The Thing of Rotation of Child” (why does a girl keep rotating?). When asked about an object, Wada answers with his film: “Well, That’s Glasses”, expressing everything: a material, an origin, a meaning, a value. With “In a Pig’s Eye”, Wada tells a story about a huge pig which lives in front of a house belonging to a family. The author shows how your point of view changes depending which side of the wall you are on. The film was awarded at the Fantoche International Animation Film Festival in Switzerland, Etiuda and Anima in Poland, Media Arts Festival in Japan and others.
