have to admit I was taken aback at how good she really is. Even though I have interviewed many there are few who have been so spot on and she is one of the handful of mediums I would highly recommend should you wish to have a reading done. Another excellent article is an interview done with a women who has survived severe abuse. I know that many of you reading this article will be able to relate and perhaps there will be those of you who will learn and not land up in the same scenario as she did. It is written without her name which many will appreciate is for her confidentiality.
Hello dear readers, The past month as been extremely busy and I found myself having to make decisions I had truly not prepared for in my head. This will be the last edition of the Aneis de Vida Online Magazine. And no I am not shutting it down, it has been bought out—hence my comment of something I had not prepared for. I will be retaining the name and the website so those contributors who have been with Aneis de Vida and the newer ones still have the option of contributing but via the blog site. In this manner I hope they will still be read and appreciated as they have been in the past. And giving you the opportunity to still read their wonderful articles.
You are still welcome to contact me via the website for coaching sessions or adding a piece that you have written. With that I wish you the most amazing month ahead. Do what you love and with passion, from my own experience you will then never go wrong. Blessings ~Tilanie~

Even though it is a sad time, it is also an incredibly exciting time for me on a personal level and look forward to the next chapter of my life to see how it will unfold. There is a younger male who needs help to find his balance and to find his calling but the others who can, need to stand on their own. She shows me that you will be moving away from the family home and this will be exactly what is required for everyone to be more capable for themselves. You will still assist and help wherever you can but you need to step away and not carry this burden alone. It does sound like a rhetoric, but it is the truth that Sandie also reiterates. We all can connect to the spirit world. Somehow however, when the ‘’logic’’ of the world kicks in we shut off our abilities.

How does Sandie do her readings? When doing mediumship for someone she makes use of no other tools, it is pure connectivity to the spirit world bringing forth answers to questions from departed loved ones. When she does, a psychic reading she will use the tarot cards. The explanation for the difference is that a psychic reads the energy of the living, a medium reads the energy of the dead. Sandie goes further in her explanation and says she does not as such need to use the tarot deck but she has found that people are nervous. As much as they want a reading they block themselves off from being read. And with using the cards these individuals relax somewhat when looking at the pictures depicted on the cards. This allows Sandie for instance to access their energy fields for an accurate reading.
Sandie’s greatest wish is that people become more accepting of others, more tolerant and kind. We all have choices that we can make in life. That is what life is about, the choice we make. Tolerance will go a long way in living lives that are not ruined by hate and war but filled with love and kindness. And that we as the people remember that we are the church, not the building that gets attended. And within that church love is spread throughout the world.

Sandie however says she still believes in a Greater Power but is not sure what it should be called and is still trying to figure that and many other points out for herself. Those who suffer at the hands of an abuser, whether it be physical, mental, sexual or verbal too often try and take the blame upon themselves. They believe if they try harder, become exactly that which their abuser ‘’wants’’ them to be, they will again regain the ‘’love’’ from their abuser. How sad, that it may take years, and years of continual and damaging physical, verbal, or emotional abuse before the victim awakens to that which is truly happening. Or worse, will continue the downward spiral because they are too ashamed to admit to anyone that which they are going through. JVM as she will be referred to throughout this interview is one of those who has done something to help others who have been, still are going through and who may well land up being abused. Her story is not too unlike many out there. What makes her different is perhaps her background to a certain extent and her determination to bring about change. She grew up in a home where her parents have been married for well over 40 years. Definitely no abuse took place that she would see this as a norm. Her relationship with her abuser started in 1990, and it was only in 2004 that she realised she was the victim to an abusive relationship. In her own words the reason she did not admit to her situation was a two-pronged reason. One being the that she felt embarrassed about her situation. Considering her parents record of accomplishment of a long and loving marriage, she did not want to Aneis de Vida
Retrospect is always so easy. It took many years for JVM to realise that the abuse started long before her actual marriage. There was pushing and shoving and lots of swearing, but at that time, if there were no bruises to show on the body it was not seen as actual abuse, and even today there are many who believe this to be the case. 1996 and JMV had been married for 2 years, and she was pregnant. The most heart breaking incident of her life took place due to physical abuse. 6½ months pregnant and being physically abused resulted in her losing her unborn child. Any women who has carried a child will understand the trauma that this causes on many levels of the female psyche. JMV stalwart that she was, shut down the emotional and physical pain. At this point her saving grace was her work. She became robotic enabling herself to continue functioning and her job was such that she was away from home more than at home. She worked late hours and tried hard not to think about her loss. And continued with life as if nothing was wrong. Only in 2004 did it hit home to JMV while her physical body was shutting down, what was happening to her. Within 24 hours she became bed ridden. And it took time for the diagnosis to become apparent – namely fibromyalgia. Subsequently she also had a stroke which fortunately did not go right up into her brain but has left slight damage in its wake.

A
s we embark on our spiritual journeys through life we might feel drawn to different divination tools and it is not secret that the easiest tools to start with are Oracle cards or Tarot cards. Now if you were anything like I was you would be wondering what the differences are and how you would even being to decide which one would be best for you.
ings will flow smoothly and your messages will be clearer. But before we can start offering readings to others lets first decide which type of card is best and start developing that intuition.
These choices are never easy and it may take a while to choose. But that is fine as this is something that affects us directly. It will determine how we develop our intuition and even the guides we come in contact with. When working with energies and intuition one needs to consider the effect it will have on ourselves and those around us. When delivering a message to another person whether it is through a reading with your cards or simply something you feel guided to tell them, always take a moment to ask yourself “How would I like to hear this message if it was for myself?” and “How can I deliver this message with love?” We need to consider the other person’s feelings as well as the importance of the message itself. If it may be too much for that person to handle at that point in time ask for guidance in delivering the message in a gentle and loving manner. We do not want people to feel hurt or distraught after we have delivered a message from the Divine. Another point to keep in mind when offering readings to others is being supportive while delivering your interpretation.
So what is the difference? Let’s start by looking at our more traditional and structured Tarot Cards. Tarot cards are rather traditional and are made to a very specific structure. They have two different arcana in the deck namely the major arcana and the minor arcana. The minor arcana are then broken down further into four different suits namely, pentacles, swards, wands and cups. Each suit has a meaning. The Major arcana cards are also categorised. The major arcana are numbered from zero right up to twenty one. Tarot cards do not usually come with a guide book and there for you need to know and understand the meaning of each type of card in your deck before starting with your readings. Tarot cards offer a set structure which some might find easier to learn from as this means all decks would be the same, only the pictures would differ.
Next we have Oracle Cards. Oracle cards do not have a set structure and many are designed around a specific theme, such as guidance in love, communication with Angels or other deities. Some offer prayers with their messages and some even offer rituals. Oracle cards also come with a guide book one can use to help you interpret the message being brought forth. A
n orchard filled with delicious fruit trees has the possibilities of harboring more than a wealth of nature’s delights. In a childs imagination, this may open the door to another world. A world of what that may be, who knows? Let the mind, wonder and play, even if it a time to remember our childhood dreams and fantasies. Do we forget them? Do we keep them locked away? Or do we pretend to be the grown up where childish memories have no place in our most important worlds?
The fruit trees were both young and old ranging from apple, figs, guava’s and my most favourite, plums trees. The fruit trees fragrances filled the air with sweetness. This was enough to capture the delights of a child’s imagining a happy tummy filled with all the deliciousness. The plum trees gave a rainbow of colours that ranged from deep purples, yellows, and the spectrum of reds. At different times of the day the smell of the fruit held different intensities. In the early, crisp mornings, the smells were contained. As the day grew warmer, the fragrances burst out of the fruit attracting insects. The On my Grandparents farm was an orchard. DATE YOUR DESSERT 10 Soaked Dates 1
Tablespoon Organic melted Coconut Oil
1½ Tablespoons Raw Cocoa powder 2
Tablespoons dessicated coconut
PREPARATION
1. Soak the dates overnight in 500ml of water 2. Next day: place dates, with the soaking water, coconut oil and cacao powder in food processor or blender and process on high until smooth.
The dessert must not have chunks of dates, keep blending until completely smooth. 3. Pour into a bowl and set in fridge for 2 hours. 4. Take out of fridge and sprinkle over / mix in desiccated coconut. 5. Serve cold
TIPS * It is important to note that the coconut oil MUST be organic because of flavor. Coconut oil that is not organic, tastes like absolutely nothing.

A healthy mind is not only dependent on a healthy lifestyle. Often we think that by eating healthy, going to the gym and not drinking is what will keep our minds healthy and active long into ‘’old’’ age. Unfortunately although this goes a long way in assisting it is no guarantee that your mind will remain healthy and active.
Make use of all your senses. This has been proven to enable the brain to build new memory cells—something that seems to be an issue when reaching a certain age. Yet it does not need to be. Believe in yourself. Do not fall for the fatal mistake of repeating to yourself and anyone who will listen about ‘’how old you are getting’’. What you say to yourself and what you say to others your mind and body hears and will mirror your thoughts.
Not everyone enjoys doing crossword puzzles. However any form of puzzle helps the mind remember and place pieces together. The crossword puzzles for instance is an excellent way to keep your memory functioning at optimum levels. Number games such as suduko have the same result . Keep learning. This does not necessarily mean you need to go back to university to go and learn a new trade, though there is nothing preventing you from doing something like this. Learning something new could be anything you like and take on the form of getting a book that teaches you something which you are interested in.

any ancient metaphysical texts maintain that the soul or spiritual essence of a person passes through stages of evolution in the mineral, vegetable and animal kingdoms to emerge only later as a human soul. As a cognitive scientist and a metaphysician, this idea seems outdated in the light of human psychology. This article looks at arguments against the ancient view of the evolution of the soul and introduces a new theory based on recent research in the human sciences.
The earlier view Very early teachings on what is sometimes called ‘the transmigration of the soul’, maintain that the human soul (as the true spiritual essence of a human being), can pass through a variety of forms, both human and animal. These texts suggest that the human soul had an embryonic stage during which it passed through earlier levels of consciousness represented by the mineral, vegetable and animal kingdoms. In other words, they maintain that the human consciousness could, at an earlier stage, have been submerged in lower forms of life.
