never been stronger.

Anderson University is in a position of strength.

Our student body reached a record of nearly 4,200 this year. In fact, we’ve experienced enrollment increases every year since 2006, making AU South Carolina’s largest private university. We continue adding innovative and vital new academic programs, such as cybersecurity, engineering, sports management, and physical therapy. Our campus covers more than 400 acres—a geographic footprint that would have been unthinkable a generation ago.

In short, we’re one of the most respected, comprehensive Christian universities in the United States.

Anderson University has never been stronger. All we need now is your help.

AU TROJANS

Our guide is the Anderson University mission and vision.

We focus on the development of character, servant leadership, and cultural engagement. To achieve our goal of becoming a more innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive university, the AU campus community is people-focused, student-oriented, quality-driven, and future-directed.

The next step in that future is launching an NCAA Division II football program— the first in the University’s history—in the South Atlantic Conference.

With your help, we can make that dream a reality. With your help, we can fully fund the Anderson Trojans Football program and Operations Center. Currently under construction, the 45,000 square-foot Football Operations Center will open in the summer 2023, ahead of the first competitive season of Trojans Football in 2024.

part of the culture

College football is a part of the culture of Upstate South Carolina.

And Anderson University has been part of the fabric of this community since its founding in 1911.

With our goal of expanding opportunities to students throughout the Southeast, our focus on character development, and our position of strength among South Carolina’s premier colleges and universities, the time is right for college football to come to Anderson University. Our prospective student-athletes will soon enjoy the benefits of AU’s uncompromising commitment to great academics, great faith, great hospitality, and great purpose.

Over the past two decades, the leadership at Anderson University has strategically explored investment opportunities that would provide the greatest benefit for its students, alumni, partners, and community. To build upon accomplishments of the past and for the benefit of future generations, we respectfully request your consideration of a gift to Anderson University that would assist us in starting a premiere NCAA Division II Football program.

In short, with our emergence as the largest private university in South Carolina, we are introducing Trojans Football from a position of strength.

part of the legacy

Your transformational gift will help build on Anderson University's legacy and your own.

You will be a part of helping Anderson University recruit and retain some of the state’s most promising students, both in and outside of athletics. The Upstate South Carolina community will benefit as well: men, women, and children of all ages throughout Anderson, Greenville, Oconee, Pickens, and Spartanburg counties will enjoy an exciting, new college sports experience.

Anderson University is seeking a total investment of $7 million in naming rights gifts. Thank you for your consideration of this legacy-building opportunity—one that will have an impact on Anderson University Trojan Athletics and Upstate South Carolina for generations to come.

“Launching football from a position of strength means two things: that football will maintain Anderson’s student selectivity and high academic standards, along with its equally high standards for student−athletics’ personal and professional development."
