la noria house contruction workshop I

Photographer studio-house La Noria, Santiago Nuevo León Assesed by: Arch. María Dolores Traslaviña

Located in Santiago Nuevo León, the house for a photographer opens itself to iits emplacement and extends the house’s limits to the entire site. The house is ordered in public and private spaces by a main axis, which creates two patios, one public patio and a private one. Services are clustered in the center and oriented towards the main façade, which is basically closed by being in the most fluent street of the neighborhood. Due to the program’s requirements the house has an underground film studio which is connected to main studio on the first floor..

foster house ministerios de amor PIII Monterrey, Nuevo Le贸n Assesed by: Arch. Edna Garza Arch. Mauricio Maycotte

The foster house Ministerios de Amor is located in a caotic context. Being on a hostile environment at the corner of a fluent avenue., the building is conceibed as an introverted space that shelters the kids and allows them to live worthily. The project is solid in its faรงade but flexible in its core, giving the children 2 playgrounds in the first floor and a terrace with the same purpose on the second floor.

The bedrooms are arranged in “L” modules, these evolved as a solution to dignify the typical foster rooms and to create good sights towards the patios or the Sierra Madre. The house is discovered in split levels, which are conected by slides and stairs making the climb to the terraces an interesting experience.

housing 2030 ca Mixed use complex in the Paseo Santa Lucia, Monterrey Nuevo Le贸n Project done in the C谩tedra Autodesk Assesed by: Arch. Adrian Gracia

In the last decades, technological advances of microprocessors and other small-scaled technologies have made huge improvements in technology development , nevertheless a great share of these technologies have only improved existing ones or satisfied superficial needs of our daiy lives, leaving sectors such as housing in a technological stall. This stall reflects how expensive may be investing and testing in big-scaled and rigid systems such as transportation, housing or energy supply. Therefore, this proposal adresses housing from its parts, creating flexible modules that can be replaced over time.

SITE AND CONTEXT

The complex is composed by four general structural modules, at the same time these are composed by three housing modules and a circulation core.

The proposal aims to be a housing prototype that can be built anywhere, nevertheless for this project a site was previously PRODUCED BY AN AUTODESK EDUCATIONAL chosen in dowtown Monterrey, at the countercorner of Heroes del 47 and Washington street. By being atthe linear park and in fonrt of the water canal “Paseo Santa Lucia”, the complex is a conection hub between the linear’s park visitors and dowtown’s community . This bond is feasible by two interconnected open plazas, one facing the housing street (Washington) and the other one facing the park.

In order to facilitate the construction process and to have the posibility of moving between places without leaving the house, the modules are made of prefab materials. In this way, the project starts with a defined structure and the growth within it is given organically by the modules depending on the residents’ needs. 3. Each housing module contains the same activities that an ordinary house holds, though the space within it varies according to the activity taking place. The apartment can be suited to three diferent activities: social event, resting space and working. This arrangements are achieved by a mobile furniture that takes advantage of the space and energy costs.

Revisiones por: Arq. Dario Camisay Arq. Adrian Llaguno

The sports’ complex “La Pedrera” tries to refurbish an old cuarry in the outskirts of the Cerro de las Mistras. The complex has an olimpyc village’s program and includes a stadium, a velodrome, an olynpic pool, sports fields, fitness centers and residences.. The promenade through the complex is given in sequence, making the sports fields the second point of the walk. The sports field complex is ordered by a main lane in platforms at different levels. At the sides of the driveway are the fitness centers with sports courts in two-levels and at the end of the path it’s the open air court. In section, the roofed gyms have either two sports courts (one on the first level and the other one on the second) or amenities on the first level and the sports court on the second. Therefore when walking through the driveway people will find a sports court on the left and amenities on the right. .

The main sports court is located near the end of the platformed path and it is the only closed sports court at the driveway level. The height difference between the module of the main sports court and the two sports court gym allows to have internal stands to watch matches at the side court.
