Cake for Dinner featuring members of Scythian kids rock

JUNE 20 Dance along as Cake for Dinner bridges the generation gap with violins, mandolins and music that appeals to everyone: waltzes, polkas, tangos and sea chanteys. Danny and Leks Fedoryka, the brothers from the Celtic-Ukrainian band Scythian, channel their inner child for a celebration of music from every corner of the world.

Incwell and The FreeWord hip-hop JULY 11 Music and poetry flow together in an endless international jam when Incwell takes the stage. Teacher, coach, writer, composer—the Silver Spring native stretches the limits of hip-hop to surprise and delight every audience member. Elijah Balbed

Stephane Wrembel guitar JUNE 27 Called a “revelation” by Rolling Stone magazine, guitarist Stephane Wrembel celebrates the release of his fifth album, Origins, featuring music from blues to flamenco to rock. See and hear the guitar in a whole new amazing way with Wrembel, whose career path has taken him from the Gypsy campsites of the French countryside to the stage of the 2012 Academy Awards, where he performed his theme to Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris.
