Crowd Crazies

Get your fans on their feet and keep them on their feet with Crowd Crazies! Learn how to create a spirited entrance to help lead your fans in a team cheer or unique chant that will pump up your team. Use signs, poms, megaphones, tumbling, and more to catch your fans’ attention and have them chanting with you throughout the season.

DAILY EVALUATIONS

In order for a team to bring back the best material, they have to know it inside and out - that’s why you’ll participate in lowpressure evaluations each day to help you remember what you learned. These evaluations not only build confidence in each team member, but they’ll strengthen your team’s bond to start the season off right!

Rock’n with the band

Show your band that you’re their biggest fan! Create school traditions by learning quick and easy sideline dances and band cheers/chants that will help you and your band spread the spirit. Incorporate signs, poms, and your mascot for an even more dynamic effect.

Sometimes yelling cheers and chants isn’t enough to grab your fans’ attention. That’s why every cheerleader needs the basic spirit toolkit: signs, poms, megaphones, and flags. We’ll teach you how to properly use your ‘tools’ to grab your crowd’s attention and have them responding louder than ever!

Our instructional staff will not only help you figure out what will enhance the visual effects of your routines, they’ll work with squad members on techniques to make jumps higher and motions sharper.

Fight Song/Pom Dances

Learn new or perfect current stunts, pyramids, and baskets. We can teach the basics for your new squad members and help take veterans to the next level. We’ll incorporate the latest stunting safety techniques and drills to keep everyone safe.

Dynamite dances are what AmeriCheer and Eastern are known for. We’ve created dance routines for all skill levels that will turn heads at your games. From funk to hip hop moves, you’ll have a routine that’s perfect for Homecoming or any special performance. Once you’re done learning, you’ll get to take home a copy of the music!

A camp favorite, fight song and pom dances will add some flair and visual appeal to your school’s fight song and grab your fans’ attention during timeouts. Our talented and caring group of men and women, who are passionate about teaching, are what sets our instructional staff apart from other camps. After an extensive tryout process, they are hand-selected to give you the personal attention your team truly deserves. Our personable and approachable instructional staff go through extensive training to help your team plan your year and teach you the skills needed to have a successful season.

safety certified Safety is our #1 focus at all AmeriCheer and Eastern camps - that’s why our instructional staff is NCSSE safety certified. We’ll provide adult supervision with administrative directors and camp managers at every camp, securing a safe environment for coaches and athletes.

Ohio Health is a proud sponsor of AmeriCheer summer camps. All athletic trainers and first aid responders are certified and provided by Ohio Health at select camps.

Because we want you to get the most out of your camp experience, we extend our customer focus philosophy through our Big Program. This mentoring program pairs teams with an AmeriCheer or Eastern instructional staff member who will work with you, one-on-one, to identify your team’s goals and strategize ways you can achieve them - giving you a strong and solid start to your season. America’s leader in spirit and . . . mascots! Your mascot is an important member of your team, and we want to help boost your school spirit by teaching your mascot the proper techniques, skills, and some fun routines that’ll grab your fans’ attention this season.

What to Expect: While cheerleaders learn attention-grabbing routines and dynamic skills, our mascots are doing the same thing! Mascots will explore such important guidelines as:

• MASCOT EDUCATION

- Learn about proper nutrition, maintenance of the costume, overall character development, and what it takes to be a mascot.

2014 home Camp Registration important information

1. Contact the AmeriCheer or Eastern Corporate Office BEFORE completing the registration form to secure your chosen camp dates. Fax or mail completed registration form with a $50 per athlete non-refundable, non-transferable deposit with all CAP codes/discounts. Remaining balance is due no later than 21 days (3 weeks) prior to your camp date. We will accept late registrations for camp ONLY if space is available. (Please call us if you would like to add additional instructors or discuss making camp more cost-effective). 2. Make checks payable to AmeriCheer or Eastern. Do not send cash. Please send check, credit card, or PO only. 3. Your complete confirmation packet, including invoice, release forms, schedules, and all other pertinent information will be emailed to the contact as soon as the deposit has been received and processed. Your camp reservation and confirmation packet will not be processed until the deposit is received. 4. Any date change less than 3 weeks prior to your scheduled camp date will result in a $100 processing/change fee (per occurrence) plus any additional costs incurred by AmeriCheer/Eastern due to the change (including travel arrangements, etc.). 5. Call AmeriCheer or Eastern to inquire if your chosen dates are available and if so pre-register for your camp with the attending AmeriCheer or Eastern Representative. 3. Complete the enclosed registration form or visit www.spiritregistration.com to complete the registration form. 4. Collect the deposit of $50/athlete and send in to the AmeriCheer or Eastern office. After your deposit has been received, AmeriCheer or Eastern will email your camp confirmation packet that will include all forms necessary to conduct your camp, as well as your camp schedule, an invoice denoting your camp balance, medical release forms, etc.
