Hi everyone, my name is Tatum Miller and I have served on the Junior board the last two years as an At-Large director. I am honored to have been selected as your 2021-2022 AJCA president!

The AJCA has given me so many amazing opportunities and memories, and I can’t wait for more. This year our Junior National Dhow was hosted in Chickasha, Oklahoma, and it was bigger and better than ever. Not only were our numbers up, but so was the quality of the cattle. This year we added a composite show to our program, and it brought in so many great new exhibitors.

I had the best time interacting with our juniors and watching them compete in all of our contests and fun activities. The kickball tournament hosted by SC online sales was a huge hit with our exhibitors, and their extremely competitive parents too! We can be proud! Our show was a huge success!

We are so thankful for all of our sponsors who made it possible for us to put on this amazing event. My fellow junior board members and I can’t wait to see you at all of our upcoming shows! Hello! I’m Madeline Sonnenfeld from Minden, Neb., and I will be serving in the Northwest Director position. I chose to run for the board because I am passionate about the Chianina breed and wanted to be more involved within it. I am super excited to become more involved with both showmen and breeders.

For this upcoming year I am looking forward to traveling to new shows that I haven’t been to yet. I also am eager to be more involved with the juniors of the association and make their show days great. Being able to serve on the board is a huge accomplishment for me and I can’t wait for the upcoming year! I look forward to meeting more of you during the next year.
