INDIANA Ball State (Delta Rho) Sisters joined other Greek women on campus to participate in a Girls Fight Back self-defense program, hosted by alumna Erin Weed (Zeta Alpha-Eastern Illinois). They learned valuable tips about how to fight back against would-be attackers.

MAINE Maine (Delta Nu) The chapter set up tables at the university’s Memorial Union to raise awareness about women’s heart health and Alpha Phi Foundation for Wear Red Day, Valentine’s Day and as part of the university’s Health Fair. Sisters volunteered at the local Ronald McDonald House, cooking meals for families there. They also hosted their 10th annual Move Your Phi’t philanthropy event. The women promoted heart health by hosting a Cardiac Care Week. Several members participated in and volunteered for the university’s Dance Marathon to raise money for childhood cancer research. Sisters also held leadership roles in the planning and operation of the 24-hour event.

The chapter was excited to host its seventh Red Dress Gala. With the help of peers, family and friends, they raised approximately $6,400 to support Alpha Phi Foundation. They continued their tradition of spring Eat Your Heart Out philanthropy events at local restaurants. They said goodbye to 12 graduating seniors.

KANSAS Wichita State (Gamma Xi) Three members were nominated for homecoming queen; one was named to the top five. Almost 350 students, alumnae, parents and community members attended the chapter’s sixth annual Viva la Red Casino Night. The event had Vegas-style casino games with food, music and raffles. Maryland (Delta Zeta) Sisters welcomed 40 new members following spring recruitment. The chapter co-hosted the annual Mr. Greek event with Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. The event raised $4,565 for Alpha Phi Foundation and the Alzheimer’s Association.

MASSACHUSSETTS Bentley (Zeta Rho) The Karaoke Phi-ver philanthropy event raised money for Alpha Phi Foundation. Sisters enjoyed an annual Parent’s Luncheon.
