The text on the LC-display must be reset by the key pad in every case. All function of the SYN3000 are disabled until the reset. Note of Advise: When the SYN3000 is activated together with the generator excitation during the Unit start up sequence then the safety time delay has to be set to include the time required for the Unit to reach 100% nominal voltage. Otherwise the SYN3000 will start evaluating the VT voltage input with a resulting error message from the SYN3000 since the relay has detected a low level generator voltage condition. Type 9: Internal Fault, invalid entry in EEPROM Cause: EEPROM faulty. Remedy: Re-load selection input parameters. The relay has to be taken out of service and the manufacturer notified. The relay should be sent to our Works together with a short note of advise. Effect: Alarm output contacts 64, 66 are closed and the LED "Warning/Error" is on. This failure can be reset either by reset of the selection input or by pressing the [ESC] - key on the key pad. The text on the LC-display must be reset by the key pad in every case. Remedy: Take the relay out of service and notify the manufacturer. The relay should be sent to our Works together with a short note of advise. Effect: Alarm output contacts 64, 66 are closed and the LED "Warning/Error" is on. This failure can be reset either by reset of the selection input or by pressing the [ESC] - key on the key pad. Error Code: 015 Internal Fault, RAM error of the User interface Cause: Internal failure of the User interface of the SYN3000 or extremely high level electromagnetic interference in the vicinity of the SYN3000. Remedy: Re-attempt setting parameters. The relay has to be taken out of service and the manufacturer notified. The relay should be sent to our Works together with a short note of advise. Effect: Only text on LC-display. Alarm contacts are not closed. Alarm is self-resetting. Error Code: 016 Internal Fault, EEPROM could not be erased Cause: Chip tolerances or ageing Remedy: Re-attempt setting parameters. The relay has to be taken out of service and the manufacturer notified. The relay should be sent to our Works together with a short note of advise. Effect: Only text on LC-display. Alarm contacts are not closed. Alarm is self-resetting.
