OUR VALUES

Value: Leadership - Be a Role Model WHAT DOES LEADERSHIP MEAN TO US AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? We believe that leaders can and do change the world. Yet, we live in a society where the integrity of leaders is frequently called into question. Leadership starts with accepting the responsibility of being a role model. Leadership is much more than just a title or a badge, it is a way of being. It is the who you are - your values, your strengths, your motivations, as well as the what you do - your words, decisions and actions. Our business inspires and enables leadership to positively impact the world. This starts with us and we commit to being role models in the home, workplace and community!

REFLECTION QUESTIONS Am I being the leader I would want to work with? Am I inspiring myself, my team and the broader community? Am I acting in a way that would make my family and friends proud? Am I empowering those around me to follow their purpose? Am I focused on the people we serve?

“The purpose of leadership is to create more leaders not more followers” Ralph Nader

Value: Live with Optimism WHAT DOES OPTIMISM MEAN TO US AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? Anything is possible! Optimism is approaching life, business and the future with confidence and with the best outcome in mind. We understand that our thoughts impact our behaviour. We are responsible for how we view and interpret everyday activities and therefore we actively practice choosing our most empowered response to situations. Our optimism is fuelled by our mindfulness, gratitude and responsibility to curate our own existence. It’s contagious to those around us.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS Am I aware of how my mindset affects my actions? Do I practice gratitude regularly? Do I look for opportunities to learn from what I have done? Am I choosing my response to situations proactively? Do I look for the best in others and the best of the situation? Do I see things from other’s perspectives? Am I respecting and valuing the people around me?

“Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence” Helen Keller

Value: Shine with Vitality WHAT DOES VITALITY MEAN TO US AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? Vitality is a state of being strong, active, enthusiastic and engaged. This energy can be an incredible force and contributes to achieving our purpose.

We approach life and business with the energy, zest and spark that it deserves. It is our responsibility to develop practices that improve and sustain our vitality to ensure we are of best service to others.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS Am I engaged with the projects I’m working on? Am I committed to being enthusiastic and bringing vitality to my work? Am I clear about the attitudes I bring to work? Am I being responsible for the energy I bring to work and to others? Do I take time for myself to exercise, rest and rejuvenate?

“Please take responsibility for the energy you bring into this space Jill Bolte Taylor

Value: Be willing to be Persistent WHAT DOES PERSISTENCE MEAN TO US AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? We are committed to making things happen. Often we engage in projects that challenge the status quo and require new thinking. Our success is due to our determination and endurance to overcome challenges. We have a strong work ethic that is supported through a long lasting energy to do well. Our commitment is to be consistent over the long term, to work patiently and persistently. We value hard work and discipline.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS Am I keeping the long term view in mind? Am I practicing eective and productive everyday habits? Am I surrounding myself with inspiring people and resources? Am I reaching out to others regularly to communicate our progress, overcome obstacles and look for solutions?

“Continuous effort - not strength or intelligence - is the key to unlocking our potential.’ Winston Churchill

Value: Be Revolutionary WHAT DOES BEING REVOLUTIONARY MEAN TO US AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? Revolutionaries seek to fulďŹ l their highest potential in line with their purpose and values. We see that this is the case for individuals, organisations and communities. Striving to our highest potential is about the journey of mastery. This means our clients always get access to leaders with an intense intrinsic desire to improve, to advance and to excel. At an organisational level, being revolutionary involves seeking out and championing new ideas, projects or alternate ways of thinking.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS Am I using my talents to best serve the world? Am I always on the look out for ways to improve and challenge myself, grow and contribute? Do I mix with people who bring out the best in me? Are my projects challenging me?

“If you do things well, do them better. Be daring, be first, be different, be just” Anita Roddick

Value: Do Good in the World WHAT DOES DOING GOOD MEAN TO US AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? We believe that good business is about more than just making money, it’s about co-creating value for the benefit of ourselves, our clients and our community. We believe business is a powerful vehicle for social change. Business can play a role in solving important social issues either in the programs we provide or our involvement in the broader community. Doing good in the world is ultimately a good business decision as well as it being just the right thing to do.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS How can my business make a difference? What is the intention of my leadership? Does my work serve the greater good? How do I give back to society? Do I acknowledge all stakeholders?

“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world Anne Frank
