ROCK MUSIC FEST
Esta ilustración digital nace en un principio como un ejercicio de clase con el objetivo de representar un grupo de personas desarrollando una actividad en conjunto, para el cual elegí un grupo rock.
Partiendo del boceto inicial, decidí investigar sobre la creación de un cartel publicitario ilustrado, entendiendo que esta ilustración sería perfecta para el tema de un festival de música.
Finalmente, opté por un dibujo sencillo con una linea marcada y colores planos pero muy llamativos y explicativos para que el mensaje quedase claro y efectivo.
This digital illustration was born at first as a class exercise with the aim of representing a group of people developing a grouo activity, for which I chose a rock band.
Then starting from the initial sketch, I decided to investigate the creation of an illustrated advertising poster, as this drawing would be perfect for the theme of a music festival.
Finally, opted for a simple drawing with a bold line and flat colours but very striking and explanatory so that the message would be clear and effective.
El boceto de este dibujo estaba destinado a la realización de un ejercicio de clase. Sin embargo, lo reutilicé para crear esta ilustración colorida e imaginativa inspirada en una canción.
De hecho, se trata de mi interpretación personal del texto de White Rabbit de los Jefferson Airplane, claramente basada en el cuento de Alicia en el país de las maravillas.
Con la variedad de colores y las proporciones imposibles he querido no solo representar el mundo del cuento al que se refiere la canción, sino que también reproducir el efecto de psicodélico que caracteriza esta ultima.
The sketch of this drawing was intended for a class exercise, however, I reused it to create this colorful and imaginative illustration inspired by a song.
As a matter of fact its is my personal interpretation of the lyrics of White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane, clearly based on the story of Alice in Wonderland.
With the variety of colors and the impossible proprtions I wanted not only to represent the world of the tale to which the song refers, but also to reproduce the psychedelic effect that characterizes the latter.
MELANCHOLY
El objetivo de este trabajo personal ha sido obtener una ilustración de estética Lo-fi con su relativa paleta de colores que trasmita calma y melancolía, las típicas sensaciones que este tipo de estética quiere evocar.
De hecho he realizado este dibujo como una portada de una playilist Lo-fi apta para la relajación.
Por último, he querido representar la sensación de melancolía que caracteriza esta estética y música a través de contrastes dramáticos de luces y de sombras que dan mas profundidad a este dibujo de formas planas.
The objective of this personal work has been to obtain an illustration of Lo-fi aesthetics with its relative color palettes, which trasmits calm and melancholy, typical sensations that this aesthetics wants to evoke.
In fact have made this drawing as a Lo-fi playlist cover suitable for relaxation.
Finally wanted to represent the feeeling of melancholy that through dramatic contrasts of light and shadow that give more depth to this drawing of flat shapes.

MOONLIGHT
Para este trabajo solo teníamos una indicación: ilustrar la magia. Lo cual deja mucho espacio a la elaboración de ideas distintas.
Opté por contar una historia relativa a las brujas, las cuales son habitualmente representadas como figuras oscuras que danzan bajo los rayos de la luna. Para esta ilustración hice referencia a la música de Stevie Nicks en la cual es recurrente el misticismo, la luna, la magia y la figura femenina.
Esta última la represento como una silueta en la oscuridad, opuesta a la luz de la luna, haciendo una danza ritual, a través de la técnica del collage.
For this work we had only one direction: to illustrate the magic. Which leaves a lot of room for the elaboration of different ideas.
I chose to tell a story about witches, usually represented as dark figures dancing under the moonbeams. For this illustration I made reference to the music of Stevie Nicks in which mysticism, the moon, magic and the female figure are recurrent.
The latter I represent as a silhouette in the dark opposite to the moonlight, doing a ritual dance, using the technique of collage.
STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER
Este proyecto personal nace con el fin ultimo de ilustrar una canción icónica: Strawberry fields forever by The Beatles. La idea es usar imágenes simplificadas y cartoonizadas de los miembros del grupo.
Esta es mi interpretación personal de la canción en la cual los Beatles se encuentran en un campo de fresas gigantes, representando el carácter fantástico de la canción y a la vez despreocupado a través de este estilo infantil.
Por último, la simplificación de la realidad representada se basa en el uso de formas geométricas y colores absurdos.
This personal project was born with the ultimate goal of illustrating an iconic song Strawberry fields forever by The Beatles with simplified and cartoonized images of the band members.
This is my personal interpretation of the song in which The Beatles are in a field of giant strawberries, representing the fantasting character of this song and at the same time carfree through this childish style.
Finally, the simplification of the reality represented is based on the use of geometric shapes and absurd colors.

LIMONCELLO
Esta ilustración nace como la simulación de un proyecto publicitario y responde a la necesidad de crear el packaging de una botella de licor o el respectivo merchandising.
El licor seleccionado es un “Limoncello” y esta ilustración publicitaria se caracteriza por el uso de formas planas y sencillas pero a la vez llamativas y coloridas, que buscan llamar la atención del cliente hacia el producto.
El otro objetivo de este trabajo es explorar las formas curvas y jugar con ellas para obtener una composición dinámica.
The chosen liquor is “Limoncello” and this advertisng illustration it is characterized by simple and plain shapes, but eye-catching and colorful at the same time, which are meant to capture the customer’s attention.
The other goal of this assignment was to explore curvy shapes and play with them to achieve a dynamic composition.
LOS MONSTRUOS
Monstruos y criaturas es el tema principal de la exposición para la cual se realiza este dibujo en tinta tradicional.
El objetivo de esta ilustración es representar el miedo y la angustia que se esconden en entornos y cosas conocidas, como nuestro hogar, la naturaleza o individuos aparentemente seguros que ocultan a nuestra espalda peligros que ignoramos.
A través de un escenario sombrío, obtenido con contrastes de blancos, negros y grises y mucha textura, busco evocar un entorno a la vez familiar y angustioso.
Monsters and creatures was the main theme of the exhibit for which this ink drawing was made in the first place.
The main purpose of this illustration is to portray fear and anguish that hides behind familiar places and things, such as our home, nature or seemingly safe subjects that hide dangers behind our backs that we just ignore.
Through a gloomy background, achieved through contrasts of black and white and grey and a lot of texture, I try to evoke a familiar and distressing environment.
