Efficiency of a premium class The German company TQ-Systems sets new standards in modern drive technology. With it’s long-term experience in the aerospace and medical industry, this technological knowledge base was now transferred
THE pin-ring drive into the development and production of an electrical power transmission system. With the PIN120 gear technology TQ has managed to combine high level performance with a small build-in space, together with a low noise level and low weight. The patented pin-ring drive train system, which has a performance of 850W and 120Nm, achieves a transmission ratio of 1:37 in one mechanical step only. Due to this technology the system can be nicely integrated in a rotation-symmetrical way.

So good that they touch the heart, the soul and the spirit of special people. M1 is powered by the philosophy of Fritzmeier Group, whose 3,000 employees and 150 engineers try to push the limits and make world class products in which design and function form a perfect whole – day after day! Carbon parts for the new BMW electric fleet (like BMW i8) are produced at Fritzmeier, and each M1 carbon frame benefits from this development! That is why the legendary MAGMA RED HOT was born in 1994. It was equipped with a true monocoque frame made of carbon. A quantum leap? The press said so. For us it was a result of inspiraton and motivation, not to forget our roots and to focus on what we do best: to bring together the technologies and resources of the Fritzmeier Group to build unique lifestyle products.
After two years of development, it was done: The timeless PURE version of the MAGMA and its new carbon siblings SEDAN (MTB 29“) and SECEDE (the world‘s first fully divisible urban bike) were available as Pedelec (25 km/h) and S-Pedelec (45 km/h), too.

Modular composition: one bike - three drives - no compromises Thanks to the unique engine concept of M1, each owner of a M1-Pedelec is able to transform his electric cycle to a regular pure bike without engine, just by changing the rear wheel. By detaching the battery, a high-end carbon sport bike is ready for a ride. Carbon is a high-end material used for producing the lightest and stiffest bikes in the world and gives every bike a unique riding feeling. Not only in terms of weight, every M1 bike is superior to all hardtails and urban bikes. The modular M1 drive system for Pedelecs and S-Pedelecs combines German engineering of M1-Sporttechnik powered by Fritzmeier with electric engine know-how of BMZ from Switzerland.
This high-tech cooperation creates silent moving Pedelecs with strong acceleration up to a speed of 25 km/h or even up to 45 km/h if you chose to get a S-Pedelec. The internal sensors recognize the power that is put on the pedals and assist the driver with additional power, according to the support level. The custom-built batteries make our bikes so unique. All bikes of M1 are street legal or can be upgraded with street legal components according to German legislation.

The legend is back - as an awesome e-bike The mother of carbon monocoque mountainbikes now available with engine. The legendary MAGMA is built with an extraordinary frame design. A combination of innovation, German engineering and lifestyle: what an amazing shape and performance. With the new technology of carbon fiber modeling, the engineers of M1 have designed a novel frame-shape with a never known stiffness-to-weight (STW) ratio. That was in 1994. Now the legend is back: Reborn MAGMA Red Hot! The engineers improved the construction of the MAGMA again and integrated the latest technical developments. The biometric design is unrivaled and has become a trademark for the use of innovative materials and stiffness at extremely low weight. Every tube is arranged according to the flux of forces that a high-end mountainbike has to cope with. That is what M1-Sporttechnik thinks of when talking about design: form follows function! This was also honored by the jury of the iF-Design Award, certifying the MAGMA a unique look without compromising the functionality of a state-of-the-art e-bike.
Like every M1 Pedelec with rear-wheel engine, the MAGMA can be transformed to a regular pure bike without engine, only by changing the rear wheel and putting off the power bottle. This gives the MAGMA Pure an incredible weight of 10 kg. The Magma is available as PURE bike, Pedelec and S-Pedelec. In our production with showroom in Weyarn in the south of Munich, we are able to fulfill every special request. Each M1 bike is handmade and that is why we are able to produce your bike and make it an individual item. This special airbrush featuring the legendary MAGMA lava design makes your bike unique!

Special M1 Warranty Manufacturerâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s warranty of M1-Sporttechnik GmbH & Co. KG: 10 years M1 warranty on our carbon frames. M1-Sporttechnik guarantees the faultlessness of the frame and the material of the frame (labeled and identified by the M1 logo) for a period of 10 (ten) years from date of purchase (verified by invoice or delivery document). This warranty applies only for privately used products of M1.
The guarantee does not apply to bike components, for example handlebar, damper and forks and also does not cover additional costs like modification respectively freight charges. Regarding the equipped bike parts (and also for safety relevant components, such as the handlebar, damper and fork), also described in the M1 manual, the legal material defect liability is applying. Between the 5th up to the 10th year starting from the registration date, we charge an own contribution fee of 50 % of the sales price of the replaced parts and of the costs for rework. Therefore, the customer receives the state-of-the-art technology.
The registration of the product on our website www. m1-sporttechnik.de (â&#x20AC;&#x153;Serviceâ&#x20AC;?) right after the purchase and also the proved annual service (written down in the service manual) is mandatory to this warranty. M1-Sporttechnik will exchange the damaged component for the same or comparable products (respectively successor products) or will repair the component. Rework is also valid.
