Taking into consideration the fact that Berlin’s club scene plays also the role of a touristic attraction, can in your opinion Berlin authorities use it as a city marketing policy? Can the spirit of the Berlin club scene be part of a common tourist guide? It's already being used as common tourist guide. In fact, tourism is mostly attracted by Berlin’s dirty underdog party image. Mainstream vs Underground. One can say that the period between 1990 and 2000 had a more underground spirit whereas the period between 2000 and today seems to be mainstream enough. What do you think? Definitely true. Although all of my answers might sound bitter, I think it's just a paradigm shift for Berlin. Yes, it used to be underground, and now it's time to let go of that. It can't be underground forever. Better yet: its become successful! Now it's time to build upon that success strategically, so as to everyones profit: the city, the Berliners, the tourists and the economy.
