The concept was the idea of purity and elegance. The master color is White, to give light and to increase the sence of space. The other color (petrol blue) is strong, heavy, necessary to give the sence of materi-

EVERYHERE
Alessia Raffaelli design Design Competition Formabilio
Everyhere is designed to be used in different types of spaces, from the living room to the kitc. What makes it so versatile is not only the finishing, designed to be elegant in any location, but is especially the structure that composes it: it is in fact composed of two elements, a base with a “U shape (wood or
metal) with two rails at different heights, and a body consisting in 3 elements assembled which will form the actual seat. It could becomes a chair with armrests or a stool with small backrest. Turning the body it is possible to choose, for each of the two heights, the size of the backrest.

NEW KIND OF OSPITALITY FOR DESIGN
Politecnico di Milano Building renovation Final Project
The intent of this project is to create, within the building located at Via Savona 18, Milan, a structure that can summarize the soul and the history of the neighborhood in which it is located, through a reskill project turned to establish a balanced coexistence between the existing architectural context and the new production, based both on functional and aesthetic aspects. The structure originally housed on the ground floor activities aimed at trade and craft, while the upper floors housed the worker’s apartments.
The intention is to preserve this functional division, but creating a connection with the principles of the new use and the historic atmosphere. The ground floor is designed to laboratory activities, social gathering and exchange, and also acts as a filter and connection between the outside and the reception areas of the upper floors. The results is a receptive system that puts inside a perfect mingling of commercial reality and residential spaces, providing a lot of services to citizens and residents. residences

AUXILIARY SPACE FOR HOSPITAL
\Andrea Branzi project Lavoratory
The Alzheimer’s Cafe’ is a hybrid site, evolutionary, in which the boundary between health and illness, normality and madness. The condition of the sick is seen as sacred. The space develops in concentric areas and goes to dissolve into the nature, outlining fluids and arelevant interiors, but at once intimate and protected. The entrance in this “holy” place, defined by sculptural elements that punctuate the space creating fixed reference points. This place
made the part of a community of equal persons. The paths are designed so that the patients are free to move without having the perception of a space enclosed and controlled. The sctructure is composed by thiny pillars around the perimeters of the cirles and its supports a large white roofing. This cover has a sinuous shape, that culminates in the center with a circular glass window that let the sunlight to come into the structure.

“Memory” as a personal recollection within an exhisting context, represented by the courts of the Hôtels Particuliers. The idea of memory and the process of remembering take part to the rediscovery of forgotten places, in relation with the user/observer. The visitor begins the experience as a simple spectator, until become the main character of the whole work. Our project consists of a spiral of mirrors open to communicate with the court, whose aim is to guide the user right to the center, through three main steps. The first passage represents the fragmentation of a

reflected through an opal filter. The final step four mirrors placed face to face, almost creating a square, are there to relect the court and the man over and over again.
