Sydney Light Rail Project (SLRP) (Australia) (2015-2019) (1.500.000.000 €) - Role: BIM Manager and Coordinator, Architect
The CBD South East Light Rail line spans 12kms from Circular Quay to Sydney’s south eastern suburbs. A tunnel underneath Moore Park and a bridge over the Eastern Distributor roadway will facilitate access to Randwick, Kensington and Kingsford. Light rail redefines travel through the city, decongesting key routes in the CBD and linking up with important locations such as the sporting and entertainment facilities in Moore Park and Randwick, along with the University of NSW, TAFE and hospital precincts. The project design has increased pedestrian space through the creation of a pedestrian boulevard in the CBD and pocket parks in Surry Hills. In resume, utility relocation in the city centre of Sydney, 12 km of track, 19 stops, 2 bridges,1 tunnels, 1 Control Centre facilities, 2 maintenance depot, and 12 substations. Architect specialised in urbanism, transport, infrastructures, construction and BIM (management, coordination and processes). During the last 6 years I have developed my technical capacities in order to manage several types of projects in different phases and conditions. Also due to my motivation and dedication I can easily manage difficult situations with a high degree of resolution. The new urban model for Bedburg’s train station integrates the old buildings with the new necessities of the city, combining both to improve the station area. A new plaza with a new bicycle station, parking and stops for buses on both sides of the railways will compound a new system that will facilitate the life and mobility of the inhabitants. Bedburg will be integrated faster and safer with the surroundings cities. HALLE 18, HOUSING (Germany) (2015-2019) (8.000.000 €) - Role: Architect Jr, Urban Designer An industrial barrack (100m x 27m), under protection since 1916, was redesign with an innovative solution that integrated 28 apartments, designed with new methodologies which allowed different types of situations and inhabitants. The project also integrates a supermarket and a parking in the ground floor. The old crane over the railways changed its position.

Responsible of defining and implement the Project BIM Strategy for design, construction and commercial phases in the SLR. Authoring and maintenance of D&C BIM Implementation Plans and Model Quality Assurance. Leading and defining BIM management and coordination for the 3D BIM D&C interface integration and implementation. Design model interface between five design consultants including utilities, civil, architectural, urban design and rail suppliers. Ensure technical documents quality based on discipline BIM modelling. Facilitate the delivery of the most up-to-date models for the collaboration with other disciplines to facilitate troubleshooting. Lead, plan and facilitate the improvement of BIM, CAD and 12D project documents, standards, processes, libraries… Perform BIM analysis; including clash detection, space proofing and periodical reviews of the D&C models to detect critical issues and propose changes in the design or construction. Reporting the Commercial Team Design Changes and Modifications through BIM information. The new urban model for Bedburg’s train station integrates the old buildings with the new necessities of the city, combining both to improve the station area. DE Die Stadt Gladbeck organisierte einen einwöchi-
gen Workshop, in dem die Teilnehmer ein Projekt entwickeln mussten, um die Probleme der Mobilität und Verkehr der Stadt zu lösen. Der Plan bestand sich auf der Vereinigung des Bushofs und des Bahnhofs, mit einer sicheren Bahnübergang durch die Eisenbahn und der Straße einschließlich einen neuen Platz. Die Büro gewann der erste Preis und das künftige Bauen des Projekts.

Die Planung wird die Verbindungen mit der Straßen, mit der Umgebung und mit der Brücke erstellen, durch Rampen, Treppen und Aufzüge. Darüber hinaus wird es einen Fahrradabstellplatz, um die Nutzung der öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu fördern.

Se trata de una nave industrial protegida de 1916 de 100 por 27 metros. Una propuesta innovadora que integra 28 viviendas en forma de bloques diseñadas como nuevas tipologías que crean distintos tipos de situaciones y de habitante. El proyecto a su vez integra en la parte baja y en el sótano un supermercado y un parking. La antigua grúa se mantiene sobre sus raíles, un espacio entre la modernidad y la antigüedad.

Debido a la alta demanda de vivienda de calidad y de guarderías en la ciudad de Düsseldorf se planteó un edificio lineal de 5 alturas junto con una extensión que pertenece a la guardería, formando así una L. Un control de costes estricto derivó en un alto control de ejecución y construcción para obtener la mejor calidad precio con el fin de cumplir con los objetivos propuestos en el proyecto por el promotor.

The office develops a new urban extension in Eusskirchen, with a new plaza between the residential buildings and the pedestrian tunnel under the train line. A parking building will serve the users of the station and the neighbourhood. The facade is of great relevance, since it will face to the plaza, thus it will create a game with colored metal slats that will allow proper ventilation and will change the image of a typical car parking.

Eine neue städtische Zone in Eusskirchen mit einem neuen Platz zwischen die Wohngebäude und den Fußgängertunnel ist geplant. Ein Parkhaus wird die Benutzer der Station und der Nachbarschaft dienen. Die Fassade ist wirklich wichtig, weil es auf den Platz stellt, damit die Fassade ein Spiel mit farbigen Metalllamellen macht. So wird die Belüftung im Stich ermöglicht, und das typische Bild eines Parkhauses verändert.
ES La oficina desarrolla la ampliación urbana de Eusskir-
chen con una nueva plaza entre la zona residencial y el paso soterrado bajo la línea ferroviaria. Un parking en altura situado en la plaza dará servicio a los usuarios de la estación de tren y del barrio. Su fachada es importante por dar a la plaza y se plantea con un juego de lamas móviles de aluminio de colores, permitiendo la ventilación y cambiando la imagen típica de parking de vehículos.

The building is composed of 72 houses with terrace, parking, supermarket and shops in the ground floor. It will be designed in L form due to the existence of a crossroad between a main and secondary street. The apartments are conformed in a long corridor which faces the noisy part of the area and a vertical core in the quiet part. There are double high apartments at the top, including a terrace with more space, quality and commodities.

Das Gebäude mit 72 Wohnungen, Parkplätze, einem Supermarkt und Geschäfte im Erdgeschoss, wird aufgrund einer Kreuzung zwischen die Hauptstraße und eine nebenstraße in L-Form gebaut. Die Wohnungen befinden sich in einem langen Gang, wegen des Lärms, und in vertikaler Kern im ruhigen Teil des Gebäudes. Alle Wohnungen sind mit Terrassen geplant. Gibt es DoppelHoch Appartements mit Terrasse, mehr Platz und Qualität.
ES El proyecto consta de un edificio con 72 viviendas,
parking, un supermercado y tiendas en planta baja con forma de L debido a la existencia de un cruce entre la calle principal y secundaria. Las viviendas se conforman en torno a un pasillo en la parte con más ruido y respecto a núcleos en la más tranquila. Todas las viviendas tienen terrazas y la parte superior es de doble altura formando áticos con mayor espacio y calidad constructiva.

Zur Nutzung der Eigentümer werden 5 Gebäude mit 43 Wohneinheiten in Phasen gebaut. Die Parkplätze werden im zweistöckigen Gebäude gebaut. Auf der anderen Seite, auf der Straße, werden ein Coffee und eine Bäckerei plaztieren, um soziale Aktivitäten zu fördern.

ES Debido a la morfología urbana del entorno se propone una forma en esquina con edificios más altos hacia el borde y de menor altura en el interior. The aim is to propose a new urban system for the neighborhood due to the lack of infrastructure in the center band. Das Ziel ist es ein neues urbanes System vorzuschlagen. Diese neue Infrastruktur, die in einer obsoleten Wasserkanal basiert ist, wird eine fluvialer Transportsystem versorgen, das zu den physischen, sozialen und kulturellen Wandel der Nachbarschaft beitragen wird. Die Planung stammt von einem Industriegebäude in dem großen Kanal, in dem Schiffen mit verschiedenen Funktionen, die das Viertel ändern werden herstellen werden.

Debido a la falta de infraestructura y de servicios se propone un nuevo sistema para el barrio. Una nueva infraestructura horizontal en un canal de agua obsoleto que aportará al barrio un nuevo sistema flotante de transporte para contribuirá a la regeneración física, social y cultural. El desarrollo urbano proviene de un edificio industrial en el gran canal, el cuál producirá naves con distintas funciones que modificarán el barrio.

Natural growth patterns were analyzed in order to plan the urban area. I got to analyze the leech, whose growth is exponential, until it suctions too much damaged tissue and dies. Um das Stadtgebiet zu planen, wurden natürliche Wachstumsmuster analysiert. Ich musste der Blutegel analysieren, deren Wachstum eine bestimmte maximale Größe erreicht. Dieses Muster wurde auf die Schadensstelle, die modifiziert werden können, angewendet. Das Projekt zielt darauf ab, Wachstums- und Verringerungsmöglichkeiten zu generieren, um eine Verbesserung des Viertels zu erreichen.

Para planificar el área urbana se analizaron patrones de la naturaleza. En mi caso, la sanguijuela, cuyo crecimiento es exponencial hasta que succiona demasiado tejido dañado y explota. Este patrón se aplicó al área urbana. El proyecto explora métodos de crecimiento y decrecimiento en el barrio para su mejora, desarrollando un sistema flexible que permite el cambio de la vivienda según las necesidades sociales.

EN An international student residence is proposed due
to the project’s location. A self-built structure with living modules defined by capsules that can vary in capacity according to the needs of the students or the city. The structure consists on a grid of metal with gateways in which the capsules are inserted. The structure connects to the cableway, giving more flexibility and mobility, allowing to change and move the capsules if needed.

Für einen Ort, ist ein internationales Studentenwohnheim vorgeschlagen. Eine selbstgebaute Struktur mit lebenden Modulen kann nach den Bedürfnissen der Schüler die Menge von Kapseln varieren. Die Struktur ist ein Gitter aus Metall wo die Kapseln eingeführt werden. Die Struktur verbindet sich mit der Seilbahn, um mehr Flexibilität und Mobilität zu haben, dass die Kapseln bei Bedarf transportiert und dann hingestellt werden können.

Debido a la ubicación del proyecto se propone una residencia internacional de estudiantes. Una estructura auto construida con módulos definidos por cápsulas que puede variar en capacidad según las necesidades. La estructura es una malla de metal con aperturas para la inserción de las cápsulas. El edificio conecta con el teleférico, obteniendo más flexibilidad y movilidad, pudiendo transportar las cápsulas para su posterior colocación.
