comes when we are connected to the vine. Imagine what is possible when you simply ask the God of the Universe, who owns it all, to multiply His Spirit in your life! He is faithful – if only we ask. God, place Your blessing on every area of my life. Almighty God pouring His blessing on all of your life! Unlimited possibilities! This request, however, requires that you surrender every area of your life to Him. One of the greatest blessings after full surrender is the peace that passes all understanding. Ahhhh . . .

Tips For Abundant Life Carolyn Guyton

Our Heavenly Father is the Sovereign Ruler of the Universe. He created and rules over every creature. That includes you! W hat does God’s rule in your life look like? Is He Lord of all? Have you invited Him to shine His light into your life and to multiply the fruit of the Holy Spirit in your walk? Have you asked Him to put His blessing on every area of your life? Has He released His creative God, multiply the fruit of the Holy Spirit in my life. You were created to bring forth fruit unto the Lord. That is what God wants from you and it is what you want as well. Fruit

Your Heavenly Father wants more for you than you are currently experiencing. Ask Him and you will find the abundant life He has planned for you.

Family? The Bible tells us we are to love and care for our family. That is an important responsibility which we treasure. However, with all the day-to-day busyness it is easy to allow that to dominate. W e feel safe with family and can find ourselves leaning on them instead of the Lord. I recently had an eye-opening experience. I was under stress in a situation. Even though God was clearly dropping assurances of His Presence into my day, I still felt concerned. I kept feeling the desire to contact my prayer warrior sister to pray. That is when I heard it. God asking me if I was going to trust her or Him. Ouch. I chose God and He came through in an amazing way. W here is your security really coming from? I invite you to sing with me, “Jesus, be the center. It’s all about You.” He is where your abundant life is found.

AUGUST Stephen Covey states in his popular book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, “W hatever is at the center of our life will be the source of our security, guidance, wisdom and power.” W hat is truly at the center of your life? Jesus? My first thought is that Jesus is the center of it all for me. I love the song that says “Jesus at the center of it all. Jesus at the center of it all. From beginning to the end, it will always be, it's always been You Jesus. Jesus.” W hen Jesus is truly the center of our life and everything about us, He is our security, guidance, wisdom and power. This realization is a comfort and joy. However, I invite you to evaluate yourself and be sure that this is true of your life. Ministry? In all of our efforts to do God’s work, that can subtly move into the central location of our life. W e are trying to follow God’s leading and obey Him, but somewhere along the path what we are doing gently slips into first place. It’s all about Him, but is He truly your security or is it in what you do?

A Fiery Church Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor. Romans 12:11 God Himself is all fire; and His church, if it is to be like Him, must also be like white heat. God expects to be represented by a fiery church. The only things that His church can afford to be on fire about are the great, eternal interests of God-given faith. Our Lord was the incarnate opposite of intolerant and noisy speech. Yet the zeal of God’s house consumed Him. And the world is still feeling the glow of His consuming flame. They are responding to it with an ever-increasing readiness and an even large response. Lord I want to be part of a church on fire for You. Help me to ever be lacking and zeal but glowing with passion for You.

Amen.
