Second Chance Breakfast According to the Child Nutrition Program Director, Connie Kennamer, “We wanted to offer food at a time most students would be willing to eat. With the new ‘Community Eligibility’, we were faced with finding a way to offer breakfast to everyone at no charge and couldn’t feed all students in a thirty minute window of time before school in the typical breakfast setting. Second chance breakfast is the ideal solution for older students.”
