aether is a semi-annual e-magazine that aims to engage collectors, artists, and galleries in conversation about the visual arts in our community and beyond. Inspired by the diverse art scene in Austin where new ideas and creativity are abundant, we are reminded that art is an essential element in our lives - one that is constantly evoling. Aether reserves a place for us to explore these transformations; first, by acknowledging the energy and effort that goes into the creation of art, and second, by investigating the new life a work takes on as it is transferred from artist to world.
