AEJMC MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES DEFINITIONS Regular Member Faculty members in the U.S. and Canada engaged in journalism and mass communication education. Dues entitle regular members to issues of Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, Journalism & Mass Communication Educator, Journalism & Communication Monographs, Online Journalism & Mass Communication Directory and AEJMC News. Associate Member Professionals, other than faculty, dealing with journalism and mass communication education. Dues entitle associate members to issues of Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, Journalism & Mass Communication Educator, Journalism & Communication Monographs, Online Journalism & Mass Communication Directory and AEJMC News. Adjunct Member Professionals serving as adjunct faculty at the college level, dealing with journalism and communication education. Dues entitle adjunct members to issues of Journalism & Mass Communication Educator and AEJMC News. Student Member Graduate students in journalism and mass communication not eligible for regular membership. Dues entitle student members to issues ofJournalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, Journalism & Mass Communication Educator, Journalism & Communication Monographs, Online Journalism & Mass Communication Directory and AEJMC News.

Retired Member A regular member who has reached age 65, or has retired before age 65 due to ill health. Retired members who pay no dues receive only AEJMC News. Payment of the periodicals surcharge entitles retired members to issues of Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, Journalism & Mass Communication Educator, Journalism & Communication Monographs, Online Journalism & Mass Communication Directory and AEJMC News. International Member Faculty members engaged in journalism and mass communication education in institutions of higher learning outside the U.S. and Canada. International members must have an address outside the U.S. and Canada. Dues entitle international members to issues of Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, Journalism & Mass Communication Educator, Journalism & Communication Monographs, Online Journalism & Mass Communication Directory and AEJMC News. Mail for international members travels by air mail. Spouse Member Individuals who qualify as a Regular Member, but are married to Regular Members. Spouse members receive no AEJMC publications, except AEJMC News. Please contact AEJMC Membership Manager with any questions concerning membership categories.
