Peer Mentor Role Description The UCD Peer Mentoring programme aims to help new students make friends, become familiar with their academic environment and feel a sense of belonging to their programme and the broader university community. Peer Mentors welcome new students and help them settle in by sharing their own experience and insights about campus life and being a student. They are a friendly and approachable point of contact during the first trimester and can connect students with support services if needed.
