Not only is the faculty highly knowledgeable, even the peer group adds a lot to the learning experience. The exposure in terms of live projects, foreign exchange programme etc. enriches the learning. And for sure, IIM Kozhikode campus is the most beautiful campus in the whole country- the serene natural beauty and the refreshing weather throughout the year makes it the perfect place to study.

teachers as well as my friends have been instrumental in helping me achieve this goal, and I am grateful to them for it. What led you to do an MBA and why did you choose IIM-Kozhikode? What according to you is the USP of the Institute? It was always there in my mind that I would do an MBA, as it would help me climb the career ladder faster. But after working in the corporate sector, I actually understood the need and importance of doing an MBA. It is no longer a salary multiplier for me; it is all about the role I get to play in the success of the organisation. My engineering degree from National Institute of Technology Jalandhar had equipped me with analytical capabilities but at times I felt that it doesn’t suffice. One needs a well-rounded perspective to look at all the aspects of business, since technology is only an enabler, the primary objective is still business. So, I decided to make a career in management and reach the top echelons of the corporate world, where I would be able to make strategic decisions and contribute towards the success and growth of an organisation. I decided to pursue an MBA from IIM Kozhikode in order to enhance my knowledge, and hone my skills in various dimensions, so that I could make a visible mark in the corporate sector. Out of these 7, I was able to convert 5 calls and finally got an offer letter from these 5 institutesIIM Kozhikode, SP Jain, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, IMT Ghaziabad and IMI. I decided on IIM Kozhikode. My experience in each of these was great, every interview added to my confidence. SIIB and SCMHRD have a very short process where the interview gets over in just 3-4 minutes. Before that they have a Group Task (which is good and tests your innovativeness and team spirit) and a GD. IMT has the usual interview (lasting around 5-10 minutes) with questions about work experience, graduation stream and general questions. IMI has both a regular GD (mostly current general topics) and interview, and gives importance to your profile as a whole. When I appeared for the interview, one of the panel members went through my certificates and was highly impressed and pointed that out to other panel members; his appreciation gave me a subtle hint of that I would get through. Narsee Monjee has a GD, interview and gives a lot of weightage to the scores of the written exam. Since I had scored pretty well in that, I was confident during the rest of the process. SP Jain, beyond doubt has one of the best processes in terms of structure as well as concept. It
