MID-CONTINENT RAILWAY MUSEUM

North Freedom is home to an old-time train depot that serves as the starting point for 7-mile, hourlong round trips on historic rail cars. JUNE 8, 2024

The Big Top Parade returns June 8, bringing exotic animals, historic wagons and marching bands to the streets of downtown Baraboo. The parade highlights a day full of circus-themed fun that will include live entertainment on the downtown square before the parade, and the big top show at Circus World afterward. Tucked in the rolling hills of Baraboo lies a true crane and conservation treasure, Cranes of the World at the International Crane Foundation

A few miles from Wisconsin Dells, Cranes of the World is the only place on Earth where guests can experience inspiring, endangered cranes from across the

globe in 15 breathtaking exhibits. From May 1 through October 31, visitors can enjoy newly renovated outdoor exhibits, a cranes and culture area featuring a crane fountain and a meditation garden,and an all-new George Archibald Welcome Center with expanded gift shop. Meandering paths surrounded by

native plants and prairies lead guests through the gorgeous exhibits and provide a peaceful environment to also enjoy miles of hiking and birding trails. Tours are offered daily in June, July and August and on weekends in May, September and October.

HORICON MARSH WILDLIFE REFUGE
