Melbourne-based jazz diva Ruth Rogers-Wright embodies the High Priestess of Soul in an engrossing performance exploring the life and music of Simone featuring her now famous black power songs, including Mississippi Goddamn, Four Women, Strange Fruit and To Be Young, Gifted and Black.

A sensory overload Vocal powerhouse Catherine Alcorn returns to the Adelaide Cabaret Festival following her 2013 hit show Go Your Own Way. This year she will tempt you to leave your inhibitions at the door and lead you on a delicious journey of mood altering musical provocation. Aural indulgence and stunning musical rearrangements all ruthlessly crafted and pieced together by Andrew Worboys will feature music from Florence and The Machine, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, David Bowie and other epic rock gods and goddesses. In his directorial debut, cabaret legend Paul Capsis will craft a voyeur’s delight.
