Interdisciplinary Yearbook

The Brief Design the 2011 yearbook for Interdisciplinary Art and Design. Concept/Proposition The Creative Imaginings of Youth & Ignorance. Create a book that is memorable and takes inspiration from current trends and past editions of the yearbook.

Background The Interdisciplinary Art and Design course brings together all corners of art and design into one and makes use of a breadth of materials and processes. The course combines installation and photography, paper crafting, sculpturing, amongst other practices. There may be scope to also carry your ideas into the end of year show promotional material.

Considerations How can you push your ideas beyond the format of the yearbook? What colours and finishes are appropriate to the course?

Mandatory Requirements The book must be 210 x 210mm square and will be perfect bound.

Target Audience Attendants to the end of year show, and people interested in the work. Possible clients
