Cry Room/Nursing Mother s Room A glass enclosed sound proof room is available at the back of the upper level of the worship center for parents with children or nursing mothers. It contains a direct audio feed from the sound booth.

Nursery: 10:00 AM Our well staffed nursery is available on the upper level across from the Worship Center doors for children who are infants to 36 months.

Children s Church 10:00 AM provides an age appropriate learning environment for our families in Classroom #3 on the lower level. Kids age 3 – 6 years old are welcome to participate. Please arrive prior to the start of service.

If you are new to Alliance Church of the Valley and have made it your home we are inviting you to lunch with the Pastors and the church staff. Please join us on May 7th at 11:30 am in the Student Center for a free lunch and fun fellowship. There is a signup at the Welcome Center for those interested.

Dinners Of Six

Back by popular demand! The Women’s Ministry will be doing another night of Dinners of Six on May 20th. There are signup sheets located at the Welcome Center if you are interested in participating or hosting.

If you are interested in learning more about the Alliance Church of the Valley, and how to become a church member, we are offering a “Discovering Your Church Class.” It will be on Saturday, May 6th from 8:00 am -noon. Signup Sheet are available at the Welcome Center.

Joy Group Lunch

Just Older Youth (55+)May 18th will be the next get together and will be a catered event. Free will donations will be used to cover expenses. Signup sheets will be available soon at the Welcome Center.

Mask’d Prayer Meeting

Wanted:

We are looking for expert block builders and baby rockers. The ACV nursery is seeking youth (age 10+) and adults to serve in the nursery one Sunday per month. If interested - please pickup an application & background check from the Welcome Center.

Garden Helpers

We would like to introduce our new Lead Church Gardener, Trish Johnson. We appreciate you taking on this new responsibility in making our gardens looks beautiful. If you are interested in being one of the helpers this summer on the schedule rotation, please signup at the Welcome Center.

Youth Ministry Youth Group

The Youth Group meets at the Student Center Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 pm. The final night of Youth Group for this year is May 10th.

Baccalaureate

The community is invited to join in celebrating the graduates of St Croix Falls, Osceola, and Valley Christian School on May 17th at 7:00pm at Peace Lutheran Church in Dresser.

- We are so glad you’ve come this morning to seek the Lord Jesus Christ and worship Him together with us. Please take a moment to complete the Connection Card attached to this worship folder. After doing so, tear it off and bring it to the Information Center in the lobby to receive a complimentary gift bag and information about the ministries of our church.

Last Sunday’s offering reached our $16,000 goal for Phase l of our parsonage window replacement campaign. The order has been placed for the nine most deteriorated windows on the upper level of the home’s north and west sides. Delivery and installation are expected in June. Phase ll, replacement of the remaining nine windows on the upper level, will be announced as soon as pricing is complete. You can continue to designate “windows” on your giving envelope.

Direction.. In Prayer. Join us on Sunday, May 7th, at the Student Center from 9:15-9:45 am to pray for our nation. No special skills required, just a willing heart.

Open Arms Dinner

We just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all those who came and enjoyed dinner, and invited others to make some beautiful memories. And also to all our volunteers who make Open Arms possible!

Christian Women’s Lunch

The next Christian Women’s Connection luncheon will be held May 15th at the Chisago Lake Lutheran Church. More information is located on the Bulletin Board.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped out this year, parents and grandparents for helping at home and driving your kids here, and to the children for working so hard in AWANA this year. Can’t wait to see what you accomplish next year! And a special thank you to Sharon Barczak for making this program what it is, being so flexible with everyone's schedules and for just being you. THANK YOU

Vacation Bible School

VBS plans are underway! Registration will be opening soon. The theme for this year is “Stellar.” The goal is to launch kids on a cosmic quest where they will have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. If you are interested in volunteering with this amazing program please sign up at the Welcome Center.
