Fountains News Sackman Enterprises Inc. International Brand Name “Flag” Hotel for Fountains
Embracing The Environment Prior to construction, the Fountains has planned for the preservation of valued trees that exist on the Fountains building site.
The success of the Fountains will be tied to an International Hotel brand as part of the development and ongoing property management plan. The Fountains is pleased to announce that Sackman Enterprises is currently negotiating with two International Hotel “Flags”. The developer has one “Letter of Intent” in hand and has a second major brand also showing a high level of interest in Cabarete and the Fountains. Cabarete’s independent hotels and other businesses are likely to prosper from the arrival of an international hotel “flag” . It is the intention of the developer to engage in an agreement whereas the hotel operator would manage all residential units in addition to the hotel within the Fountains. The highest level of property care and management will set a new standard for local real estate investment protection and performance. The high interest level shown by international hotel brands is a very good sign for the future economic prosperity of Cabarete. The Fountains looks forward to delivering an international hotel “flag” to Cabarete and sharing in the future success of the community.
Hundreds of trees will be moved and warehoused in several tree farm locations on or near the site.
Fountains Plan to Features Roof Top Swimming Pools
All trees will be reinstalled within the Fountains landscape master plan. Any trees that do not fit into the master plan will be donated to local schools or other public areas for their re-installation and preservation. Another example of the Fountains commitment to a “green” design and implementation plan.

Both the Hotel and Condominium buildings have been designed to include roof top pools featuring panoramic ocean and mountain views.
Fountains Timeline The Fountains has submitted it’s revised plans for governmental approvals. Sackman Enterprises is hopeful that the approval process will be completed later in 2010. Should this be accomplished, the development could proceed to the initial construction phase in the first half of 2011. The Dominican Governments proposed improvements to the main street corridor and to a governmental effort to enforce laws that insure the safety of community residents as well as visiting tourists will also play a factor in the Fountains construction timeline .

The Dominican Government has announced that the design process is underway for a future By-Pass road for Cabarete. The design plan will address parking needs, pedestrian needs, safety needs and traffic management for Cabarete’s main street. The Fountains has been informed that upon completion of the design plan, a public meeting will be held to share the specifics of the planned roadway. The Fountains has pledged it’s support for the Cabarete By-Pass road with hopes that this critical municipal improvement will soon become a reality.
