Our Heart • Our Pride • Our Moment

Join the excitement! Our auditorium – the heart of Holy Angels – is undergoing its most extensive renovation since the curtains first opened in 1965. This is our moment to support the transformation of this cherished space into a state-of-the-art, multi-use center for the entire AHA community.

Angels make heartwarming, lasting memories in our auditorium, from the time they attend Open House and orientation right through the Senior Award Ceremony.

Over the last few years, AHA’s leaders focused on ensuring the care of students and families who encountered unprecedented financial concerns during the pandemic. We are grateful for generous donors and gift support that allowed us to keep all families part of our AHA school community, and we can now focus on our facilities.

“My most memorable moments in the AHA auditorium started in ninth grade, when our class was enjoying Holy Angels traditions together for the first time. We had so many events, like my first play, singing ‘Ave Maria’ at our first Christmas Concert, and all our Masses and assemblies. I especially remember meeting my best friend when we sat next to each other in the auditorium on the first day of school.”

AHA’s auditorium is the hub where academics, spirituality, and community converge. The current renovations will make this area a point of pride for a new generation of Angels, prospective families, returning alumnae, and everyone who attends a show or program at the Academy.

“Now that we have supported our families and guided our school community through the pandemic; we have re-focused our energies to fast-track the renovation of our school auditorium and music wing. We are asking you to partner with us to assist with the funding of this project so that all students here at AHA will benefit from these beautifully renovated and updated spaces.”

Our state-of-the-art performance center is being constructed with top-notch technology, including specialized lighting and sound systems, and acoustic panels that maximize sound clarity and volume for the audience.

Ultimately, everyone at AHA will benefit from this dynamic space.

Students who have an interest in technology or the behind-the-scenes elements of the performing arts will have an extraordinary opportunity to work with the up-to-the-minute sound and lighting systems.

Movable front row seats will provide options for varied stage and seating needs.

“I’m involved with theater, so I’m really excited about the new sound system. It’s going to make a huge difference for our productions.”

“The AHA Orchestra rehearses and performs on the stage all year. As an instrumental musician, I’m looking forward to having an updated space.”

The visually appealing, flexible staging and design plan allows the space to be adapted for any size gathering, including small or individual classes.

Flip-up armrest desks on designated rows make it easy for students to take notes or use a laptop.

Performing artists will have access to adjacent dressing and practice rooms and an expanded backstage area.

The renovations also include updates to the adjacent music rooms and the AHA School Store. The store will soon be easily accessible by students, parents, and alumnae. Students will enjoy the newly designed music corridor, which includes updated choral and instrumental rooms.

Our state-of-the art multi-use center will bring our entire AHA community together.

Updates will include new seating in the lower level and balcony, a new air conditioning system, and a dedicated sacristy for priest vesting and liturgical preparations.

This space will be used for:

• School liturgies and prayer services

• Multi-grade assemblies

• Programs that recognize students’ accomplishments and milestones

• Activities such as debates and Model UN

• Concerts, dramas, and musicals

• Open House

• Student instruction

• Alumnae reunions

“At AHA, our greatest strength is our sense of community. We are at our best when we work together. The renovation of our auditorium and music wing is an achievement for us all to share and celebrate!”
– JEAN MILLER, PRINCIPAL

“The auditorium is filled with so much history. My grade will get to be the first class to experience this new auditorium…and it is really exciting to be part of that legacy.”

T HIS IS OUR MOMENT !

Over the last five years, AHA has sustained strong academics and stable enrollment, and established a thriving middle school here on campus. We have enjoyed generous financial support, provided scholarships to deserving Angels, opened our new STREAM lab, and dedicated the beautifully renovated Sister Genevieve Kelleher Hall.

This success is the firm foundation upon which we now build.

As we move into the future, all are invited to honor friends and loved ones with a lasting tribute. Please consider making a gift that allows the names of your beloved friends, faculty, and family members to be inscribed on memorial seating plaques.

“The auditorium renovation is both exciting and necessary for AHA to continue its mission. The AHA Board of Trustees has a responsibility to provide our student ‘Angels’ the best educational opportunities to develop as individuals. The Board is asking each of you to partner with us to complete the work on the state-of-the-art multi-purpose and performance center – an auditorium space which is at the very heart of AHA and will serve every student.”

Now is our time…

Join us in this meaningful moment!
