WELCOME TO THE PLAYGROUND COMPANY We are a family business based in the heart of Cheshire with an ambition to improve as many children’s outdoor learning and play areas as possible. We believe the best way to achieve this is by establishing trusted friendly working relationships with our customers. Working closely together, we will help you design and create the outdoor learning and play area that will meet your needs and budget. We have many years' experience within the playground development industry and we pride ourselves in delivering the best quality products and service from quotation through to completion at our best possible price guaranteed. We have also created a range of build your own products which can help any budget stretch that little bit further. All of these products are supplied with simple step by step installation instructions for a competent person to follow. Where possible we try to promote the use of natural and recycled materials. Our timber based products are manufactured with the use of environmentally friendly sourced timber. We also offer outdoor musical equipment made from 50% recycled materials and a large range of playground furniture manufactured from 100% recycled polystyrene.

The Playground Company have established memberships to industry recognised bodies such as CHAS, Constructionline and RoSPA. We are independently assessed on a regular basis for our company financial stability, health and safety, and conformity to the European Standards for both Play Equipment (EN1176) and Safety Surfacing (EN1177). All of our installation teams are CRB/DBS checked and experts in their field. Be assured that you are working with a highly reputable business who treats safety as paramount in the design, manufacture and installation of our products. HOW IT WORKS Improving your outdoor learning and play areas should not be complicated. The Playground Company try our very best to keep everything extremely simple for you. If you have seen something within our brochure or on our website that you like or if you have a specific outdoor area you would like to
improve, simply give us a call and a member of our team will happily discuss the options available to you. We provide a free on site survey and will tailor all quotations specifically to meet your needs and accommodate your budget. The following four simple steps DESIGN

From your initial phone call and ideas, we can discuss your individual needs and arrange a site visit if required. If you are unsure of what you want, don’t worry, we can suggest ideas which will work for your play area. We also encourage the children to get involved, they have great imaginations!
We will take all of your ideas and concepts and when required, create a 3D design so you can visualise your play area. You will receive a fully itemised quotation, detailing each of the proposed products. At this point you may feel that there are certain elements that you like but others not so much. Not a problem, we can tweak the design until you are 100% satisfied. We can then turn your ideas into a reality.

Our fully modular ball court systems are perfect for schools that have the space to create specific areas dedicated to sports and physical play. Designed to meet your specification, the goal ends and ‘Multi Use Games Area’ can be used for a variety of sports including football and basketball. The MUGA’s include reinforced sports fencing and goal ends with options on gates and chicane entrances and exits. Both our MUGA’s and goal ends are fully galvanised and then powder coated in a colour of your choice. NB: All our timber products are constructed with play grade quality timber which is pressure treated and guaranteed for 10 years against rot and insect infestation, however this is a natural product and is likely to move and split as the product matures. The above guarantees exclude accidental damage, general wear and tear, incorrect installation by non PGCO installers and vandalism. Third Party Playground Inspections: Our play products and safety surfacing are designed and installed to BS EN 1176 & 1177 and we will always rectify any defect within the guarantee period of the product free of charge, should the play equipment or surfacing fail to meet these standards. However, due to increasing numbers of unregistered play inspectors PGCO Ltd only recognise inspection reports completed by RPII (register of Play Inspectors International, www.playinspectors.com) registered inspectors. RPII inspectors have to have undergone training and examination or have been able to demonstrate the required experience and skills in order for them to be included on the register. Both RoSPA (www.rospa.com) and The Play Inspection Company (www.pi2inspection.co.uk) have registered inspectors with RPII and are able to provide further information regarding play safety and inspection.

HEALTH & SAFETY Safety is paramount in the design, manufacture and installation of our products, ensuring we comply with European Standard (EN1176 / 1177). A family run business with small children of our own, we will not knowingly promote, sell and install any playground equipment, furniture or service that we would not be totally happy with for our own children to use. Our company has fully comprehensive public liability insurances and a copy of our insurance certificates can be provided upon request and technical risk assessments and method statements can be provided if required.
