The Sports Car Club of B.C. opens its 2011 road race season at Mission Raceway Park this weekend. The action will include the first round of the Confederation of Autosport Car Clubs (CACC) championship, along with the season debut of the Westcoast Sportscar Championship (WSC). Gates open at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The University of the Fraser Valley men’s basketball team is hosting an identification camp on Saturday, April 23. Athletes will be put through drills by the UFV coaching staff, and participate in an officiated scrimmage. In addition to the Cascades coaching staff, multiple BCCAA men’s
basketball coaches will be present. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $25 per athlete, and players are asked to bring a reversible jersey, or both light and dark T-shirts. For more information, contact UFV head coach Barnaby Craddock at 604-851-6310 or barnaby.craddock@ufv.ca.
