 Dr. Bobbie Robinson and Dr. John Farrar were selected for the USG Executive Leadership Institute. Van McGriff retired after 26 years at ABAC. Tarrah Mirus became the ABAC Registrar on Sept. 1.

 Melissa Johnson set the ABAC record for goals scored in a soccer season and was named the National Junior College Athletic Association Player of

a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Georgia Education Advancement Council on Nov. 17. AT&T Georgia presented ABAC with $2,500 to be used for the scholarship program.

 An ABAC team of Rural Studies students finished second in the USG Social Business and Microcredit Forum. Former ABAC President Stanley Anderson passed away on Nov. 26. He served as president from 1975 through 1984.  Dr. Zsuzanna Boegre, a Fulbright Scholar from Hungary, will teach classes at ABAC during the fall and spring terms.

Alpha Gamma Rho Chapter Installed at ABAC Forty-six brothers of the Gamma Delta chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho were initiated on December 11, 2011. AGR was the first greek organization to colonize on the ABAC campus.
