A romantic venue with a Scottish twist for the most important day of your life!
The National Piping Centre is a beautiful building, built in 1872 by the architects Douglas and Sellers. Regarded as an Italianate church with a distinctly Tuscan tower, it also has a mixture of Greek elements with a simple pediment facade onto what is now Cowcaddens Road. To the sides, the beautiful glazing is referred to as "a la" Alexander Thomson and some think the Church has design echoes of Thomson’s work at the Caledonian Road Church built in 1856 and also, St Vincent Street Free Church which Thomson built in 1858. The National Piping Centre was lovingly re-stored in 1997 and has become one of Glasgow’s most popular wedding venues.
Piper Nothing adds more occasion to your wedding day than the presence of a traditional Highland Piper! We supply expert, professional, competent, world class pipers in full highland dress for your big day. Our pipers have abundant experience in playing at all types of engagements and are guaranteed to add a special touch and ensure that your guests will be sure to never forget your big day. Although many couples decide to have specially chosen music for the processional, our pipers could also pipe you down the aisle for that truly Scottish touch. Some suggested tunes are:
