G O D ’S W O R D SPEAKS AND LISTENS
God’s Word Speaks and Listens to Heaven and Earth God’s Word commanded the heavens and the earth to exist and listened to the voice of their obedience and heard their need as though it were a prayer for help, for they could not shine. And God said, Let there be light! And there was light. And God’s Word heard the voice of the light, that it was unable to divide itself from the darkness. And the Word of God divided the light from the darkness.
God’s Word Speaks and Listens to Israel and the Nations God’s Word Commanded Israel to be His witness. Then God found Israel weeping on the witness stand. And God’s Word wept with Israel. God’s Word commanded the nations to rejoice with Israel, but the nations found Israel and God weeping together And they said, It must be that they have divorced. Perhaps now He will love us! God’s Word listened and said, Rejoice with Jerusalem! For although she was barren, I am giving all of you to her for children!
