December 10, 2009 The children of the Jubilee Center need you to invest in their future! Please make a donation to the Jubilee Center, an after-school enrichment program for children in public housing in Hoboken. Currently, over 85 children are enrolled in the program, spending more than 3 hours after school every day at the Center working on their homework, with guidance from the staff and volunteers, and enjoying activities like dance, poetry, computers, etc. Your support is essential for us to continue helping the children in the future. Donations from foundations and individuals are declining during the recession, so those who have been fortunate in these difficult times are challenged to do more. And the bottom line is that we need your contribution. Please donate now. Please give whatever you can. Any gift ($500, $250, $100, $50, or even $5) will help the staff and volunteers continue to have a positive impact on the lives of these children. For the Holiday Season, it is one of the best gifts you can give. And if you want to make a gift on behalf of someone else, we will send a card acknowledging your gift to the person you designate.
