8 2010 | Henrik Hedinge | Conceptually what happened. The year took of with a presentation of the el Piramide in Australia. A project which I suppose have things do with persona and gender. So far it does not really have any text good enough to accompany it, so the concept is presented by an illustration. Revising the year I was a positively surprised that the project now has been shown four times in three countries. This will probably lead to a re-edit of the video, since more material is available now, and a search for possibilities of doing it as a live performance.

Secondly, the year led to the Male Pregnancy project which developed itself into a work as research project. From life drawing sessions with

9 students in Sweden and Serbia, via gallery performances in Serbia, Turkey and Macedonia to web based performances and to artistic collaborations with artists from Paraguay and Serbia presented in various group exhibitions. Part of conceptual text for one of the presentations: “She doing me from behind."" She doing me from the front."" Woman getting the man pregnant. "Protection."" Don’t we need protection? "I haven’t taken my pills."" I don’t have a condom.""It doesn’t matter. It is just a fuck."" 'Come on get me pregnant' "Do me pregnant." Fuck me over."" From behind."" Protection is not necessary, it is just a fuck. Come on woman. Get me pregnant. The woman getting the man pregnant.” Then the GenderFlux concept appeared: "People looking for their persona. Their personality. Looking for their body of desire or being lost in their own body. Hetero normal ways of living are changing. Hormones changing bodies and personas voluntarily, or forced by pollution. Fast information flux in the era of internet making us dream and feel many more things than before."" Before maybe you felt that you were a man or a woman or gay. In today's twitter flow of quick information, desires and conceptions change quicker and quicker. No time to change your gender. Your gender has become a constant flow of gender metamorfis. GenderFlux." It turned into a video performance, live performances, an interactive installation and experiments with phone applications. By the end of the year the Body | Talk (working title) appeared due to the experiences of the earlier projects pointing in the direction of the individual experience rather then the collective audience watching a performance. This was the newest project of the year. Basically paper, pen and people. From a small experiment in Halmstad, Sweden, with two people it quickly ended up in Madrid, Lisbon and Tarragona developing into larger and larger performances and environments. Still analyzing the result of it.

10 2010 | Henrik Hedinge | 2011ually what might happen. More workshops. Drawing on the experience of the GenderFlux and Body | Talk presentations, shifting the experience of the audience from looking at something happening to something that all participate in and discuss. More conceptual texts. This year saw the conceptual text (the GenderFlux text) appearing in all parts of the world. It was the trailer. This year more and a bit longer ones. More biotech. Diversifying the palette of materials and substances used trying to display and explore the human and its human interactions. More interactive tech. Focusing more on the individual experiences of the art works. More apps and programming. Interactiveness from the performance concepts into more platforms.

More ACTION. And LOVE. Thanks all for 2010. Now let’s make 2011. All the best, hHH+
