A-Founder: Someone should pledge our Organization, because in this sorority there are no secrets, we are all set for one goal here and that is to succeed.... Other than that we are close as to IMVU and real life...
Gs: How many members do you have that's active? A-Founder: we currently have 5 active members Gs: What made you start your own sorority? A-Founder: Me and my twin was sitting in pc one day and was discussing what we was tired of from IMVU..... Not to put any other soro down because they are all not the same...but the ones we have dealt with were... So I had been think about it for a while.. and decided I was going to go ahead and do... So we put our heads together
Gs: What is your Motto and meaning behind it? A-Founder: Our motto is To remain humble, upright and steady..."Determined to be womanly always and never discouraged" The meaning behind it is that no matter what it is you are going through.. we are hear for you... your sister are suppose to have your back not have their back turned towards you A-CO-Founder: and that whatever negativity is thrown at you, continue to walk humbly and never let the thoughts of others discourage you Gs: How will your organization promoted unity among the Greek community on IMVU? A-Founder: We will promote unity by having events out of the world... I try to think outside the box and do something that has never been done..... Also help other organization that need it because at the end we are all one and all striving for the same goal
Gs: Tell Me What are your plans for your org event wises , can greek source get the inside scoop ?**** A-Founder: We are having a Iota fashion show coming soon A-CO-Founder: Well right now we are about bonding and getting to know our sisters. We believe in having a strong bond with each other because that's how most soros fail. Sisters feel left out, or neglected...so as of now events we have planned are bonding events to get to know our fellow sisters. Events such as pillow talk, meet and mingles, etc. Gs: There's strength in unity and not numbers is what I believe. A-Co-Founder: Right A-Founder: yes Gs: Where do you see your Sorority 6 months from now? A-Founder: I see us still going strong as ever no matter who is with us I am only mind set on one thing... and that is us knowing our fellow sisters if it takes us 6 months to get there... A-Founder: The positive is getting the people who know really want to be in a soro The negative is getting the people who think this is what they want to do because they friends are in one and not really want to be here Gs: If ya’ll ever had anything to say to the IMVU world, what would you say , the time is now ? Gs: How many members do you have that's active? A-Founder: 17 Gs: What made you start your own sorority? A-Pres: I didn't start the sorority but I was brought in to help build it I personally wanted to help start this sorority because the last one I was in. I didn't feel they had a solid foundation. I wanted to be involved in organization that uplift the women with-in not follow behind frats guys. Gs: Tell Me What are ur plans for ur org event wises , can Greek source get the inside scoop ? A-VP: WE HAVE ALOT OF CHARITY EVENTS LINED UP,BOTH FOR FUN AND TO LET PEOPLE KNOW WHATS GOING ON IN NOT ONLY THE GREEK WORLD BUT PERIOD. WE ALSO HAVE A FEW EVENTS WE CANT DISCLOSE YET WE WANT THEM TO BE A SECRET A-Pres: We have alot of upcoming events to try and bring in a positive crowd. We recently had a black & white Party that was very successful. We also are promoting awareness with-in the upcoming months Gs: Do you have a Brotherhood or is seeking one? A-Pres: At the moment we are trying to build without one. We not rejecting a brotherhood but I want to personally see if the ladies that join are not coming in seek of frat guys. Gs: What do you think is the hardest thing about being a founder or president? A-Pres: The hardest thing for me is to trying to get the ladies focus on there talent and not feel like being in a sorority is one big party I encounter a lot of smart talented young ladies. But it seems as they only use there strength to build frat brother's and that upset's me so much. Gs: As a new Organization, what has been the positives and negatives of recruiting? A-Pres: The positives are we get to meet new and interesting ladies and build friendships. The negatives as I said before when they find out that we are without a brotherhood they don’t last very long iPersia: If ya’ll ever had anything to say to the IMVU world, what would you say , the time is now ? We are not perfect and not trying to be. We are a group of ladies starting out with a vision of unity with-in our organization. We welcome all with a positive mind and spirit to join us to fulfill this goal and we look forward to seeing smiling new faces. A-Founder1: Titaness was something I had been using before and with our Goddess theme I found it to be fitting. A-Founder2: that's a good question because I had a hard time with my name but I liked Enticing and it fits me so I ran with it Gs: What your Titles? A-Founder 1&2: Founders Gs: When was your chapter established? A-Founder1: May 23, 2014 Gs: Now, I heard you ladies merge, can you tell me what made u ladies merge your sororities ? A-Founder: We were both with previous organizations, that eventually ended. So we figured why not put our heads together and come up with an organization that exceeds limits. And she is also my twin so it just felt right. A-Founder2 : right combining both of our beliefs and values into one org coming up with GNX Gs: How Has It worked out so far ? A-Founder2: they are but as of now they are only recruiting stems and male avis A-Founder1: They were co-ed, but due to their reasoning it didn't work out. A-Founder1: I know you may get this a lot but we are cut from a different cloth; Instead of going in with everything set in stone, we will be building our sorority around the unique values of each Goddess. Gs: How will your organization promote unity among the Greek community on IMVU? A-Founder1: But we plan to step out of the norm and treat other sororities as equals. A-Founder2: we don't discriminate at all, we accept and welcome all creeds, colors, backgrounds, race etc . . . we encourage our girls to be active in the Greek community I.E during tasks participating in events A-Founder1: We did not start GNX to compete but help each other out We have chilled with members from Rho Eta Chi so big ups to them A-Founder: IMVU is to small for us not to be kind to 1 another tbh Gs: What do you Ladies look to gain from the Greek World ? A-Founder2: me personally i want respect from the Greek world Gs: Where do you ladies see your Sorority 6 months from now? Gs: Do you ladies have any advice for someone thinking about starting their own Sorority? A-Founder1: Plan Plan Plan Don't rush anything because if your foundation isn't solid it will go under. You Can't build on shaky ground So plan it out from every aspect and be prepared for all what-ifs A-Founder2: DO IT ! take your time, go hard and just do your research
Gs: What do you think is the hardest thing about being a founder or president? A-Founder2: word and most importantly be true to your organization and yourself don't just do it cause it seems to be the cool thing to do it because you believe in it the hardest thing for me right now is juggling both my rl and IMVU I am going to be honest, I work rl so you know went I come home I'm tired but at the end of the day this is something I wanted to do and something i believe in so I make the sacrifices of going to bed late waking up early doing what I got to do to make sure GNX is A1 A-Founder1: The hardest part tends to be judging one's character because people can seem soooo prepared for the long haul. Q: Where is one place in the world you would like to visit and why? A: I would like to visit the Holy land. Q: Do you have anything you would like to address to the Greek World? A: I’m honored to be Greek of the Month, ever since I've joined the "Greek World" its been an honor. I was the first female allowed into an all male avi Fraternity. I used to get a lot of "how are you in TPX its a fraternity not a sorority?". I've even been asked to join a co-ed or two but why leave something I've worked hard with for 2 years. Just to anyone seeking to be in something they don't think they’ll get into, due to odds don’t let it affect you. You can still be apart of anything with dedication.

Gs: So Sirenita Please introduce your self so the Greek world can get a feel of you ? A: I'm Nita, the Founder and Dean of Sigma Psi Chi Sorority International. I'm also the Fraternity Sweetheart of Gamma Psi Rho and the Head Coordinator of IMVU Greek Week. I also love to support other IMVU Greek organizations. I think of myself as a fan and cheerleader of other IMVU sororities and fraternities. lol Gs: Can You Tell Us How Long have u been in the Greek world and what made u start your own sorority ? A: How long have I been a nosy in Greek affairs? lol Let's see...I've actually been here since the beginning. So...that would be since 2007, which is actually the founding date of my sorority. I decided to start my own sorority because I wanted to form a support group of female friends. In other words, I wanted to bring together devoted IMVU female avatars worldwide to form an elegant and elite IMVU sisterhood uniting in a bond of sincere friendship and encouragement. At that time, there weren't any active sororities or fraternities for that matter. IMVU was new...more individualistic and lonely for many folks. Gs: So one of the first is pretty impressive and to last this long is even more. A: Aww, Thank you! I couldn't have done it without the support of my Sorors. They're amazing. :)
Gs: During the years, what has been the hardest with keeping your soro open for so long? A: That's a good question. My Sorors and I have been very fortunate. I guess the hardest thing would be planning things just right. Organization is not an easy task, nor is being a leader. Being able to communicate properly and making sure everyone gets along is very important.
Gs: The Greek Source Readers Know You As The Old Greek Network, Can you Tell us about that a lil ? A: The Greek Network was the first IMVU Greek-Lettered Organizational Council that consisted of a leader from each organization that made up the council. Since my sisterhood and brotherhood were the first active IMVU Greek organizations, we felt like it was our responsibility to set the example for all the others who wanted to start their own Greek organization. We advocate unity. So we wanted to start the Network in order to support one another and to share a common purpose for the good of all Greeks. Working together can make a big difference, it would bring more of an impact, standard of how Greeks are supposed to be. We wanted to get everyone together and break the stereotypes about Greeks not getting along. We wanted a network to work together as one community with a common purpose and mission.
Gs: Can you tell us about Greek Week and how it went this year? A: Sure, IMVU Greek Week is a spirited seasonal week of sponsored events established by Sigma Psi Chi Sorority International (my sisterhood) and Gamma Psi Rho Fraternity International (my brotherhood) which demonstrates Greek life of IMVU. The purpose of Greek Week is to show Greek pride and unite GreekLettered Fraternities and Sororities on IMVU by showcasing them to the community via step shows, parades, parties, competitions and more. It went very well this year. I'm pleased with the turnout and festivities. I know that you ladies showed awesome support! Thank you~ ~claps for iPersia and Kara~ Gs: When will the next Greek Week be held? A: We haven't decided yet, but as soon as we do, we will let everyone know as soon as possible...so keep a look out. :)
Gs: You mentioned your Brotherhood, Gamma Psi Rho, when did they become your brothers? A: They became our brothers since their beginning, which isn't far behind ours. The fraternity was founded in 2008.
Gs: How Have that journey been with ur brother hood? A: It has been a lot of fun. They are very protective of us and about 99% of our events are with each other. They are men of distinction and we get along very well. Gs: Thats great to hear. You don't hear most Soro/Frats lasting so long Gs: Tell Us How Hard was It to see the Greek Beefing , when u stand for unity ? A: I honestly felt disappointed, because we, Greeks, are supposed to be setting a good example. Gs: Do u see improvement from the start of Greek life to present? A: There are positives and negatives, but...overall I see a lot more creativity and attempts being made to unify and support one another. I just hope that we, as a Greek community, can keep making steps forward.. instead of taking one forward and then one back. Gs: So would you say that more non D9 members are bonding together or is it all together bonding? A: when I say the Greek community, I am referring to all Greeks...D9 members and non-D9 members. All I know is that all of us should respect each other, and share a common goal.
Gs: Do you have any events coming up? A: Yes, my sorority does at 8pm est on Fri, June 20th (tomorrow). We have a party with an Egyptian theme. We call it The Egyptian Getaway. All Greeks are welcome. :) Gs: where would you like to see the Greek community 6 months from now , do u have any thing in mind? A: I would like to see the Greek Community set up mentor programs and take organizational shifts with it. I'd also like to see us construct and run recreational programs. We should do more philanthropy projects as a whole. :) so why not do it together?
Gs: Seeing all the new up and coming Greek, what advice would u have for them ? A: My advice for the new up and coming Greeks would be to organize and communicate properly, respect yourself and others as well as show support and persevere. :) Gs: Where do you see your Soro in the next year? A: I see my sorority welcoming in more Sigma Sorors, and continuing our mission of closing the global distance gap via Internet and promoting social, and intellectual culture. Gs: Knowing what u know, and seeing some change would you do it al over again and why ? ( meaning the old Greek net work ) A: That I'm not sure of. I honestly think it was before its time. It didn't flop, necessarily...I just don't think that people didn't fully understand the vision through their actions. It should have been respected and valued more by its members. Professionalism from members is just as important as professionalism from their leaders. Gs: Is there anything you wanted to address of say that we didn't touch on today? A: You girls are very thorough /snap You GO girls! Nothing comes to mind. But, I would like to thank you for your patience, because, as you well know, I'm longwinded. GS: Thank you for taking the time to sit with Greek Source and granting us this interview. The subject of this interview is life after crossing into your current organization. Even though it has been awhile since you've crossed, I am sure that the experience still lingers with you. Ready to begin?
A: Yes. GS: Is this your first time being a member of an Organization? A: No. GS: What was the crossing experience like with your previous Organization? A: umm ...Honestly it was horrible. We didn't receive a proper probate ceremony . GS: Wow. How long did you stay with the Organization? A: 3 months then it shut down. GS: Ahh. I see.
GS: Now let's move on to your current Organization. A: ok. GS: Could you please state your current Organization and Line Name? A: I'm currently with Theta Phi Xi and my line name is King LieuTENant. GS: How long have you been with Theta Phi Xi? A: but I have been a member just over two months.
GS: Ohh...So that means you were a part of TPX's 40 or more member recruitment, correct? A: Yes. GS: What was it like being part of a recruitment that large? A: For a moment I thought it was a joke at least until I loaded ...but it was definitely a moment to show what u had to offer as an individual especially after being told only 15 total would make it. GS: Honestly, I did as well. But it actually turns out its a great idea. Because the process of elimination will work naturally. Only the individuals left may have what it takes to be a part of a Organization. A: Right, as we say only the strong survive. GS: True indeed. Next, I'd like to ask you about tasks. GS: What were the positive and negative moments doing your tasks? A: well....most task required team work so as a positive moment we learned each other and developed a bond amongst us. A: However, the negative moments came during consequences of someone not completing theirs ....having to take the punishment as a line and not individuals. That sometimes caused issues, but overall it was a learning process. GS: Nods...More so if one fails, we all do. The ugliest part of working with a team. A: Right, but overall, the results are a stronger foundation.
GS: Overall, if you had to re-pledge TPX, would you do it? A: I don't want to....lol but if I had to yes absolutely. GS: Lol. Let's speak about your experience crossing with TPX. Using one word to describe the experience, what word would you choose? A: Epic. GS: Why did you choose Epic? A: Well the moment you're in the room and see the reaction of the members welcoming the newcomers ...words cant explain it. All I can say is I guarantee no one else does it as big. GS: Now that's what's up. So you went from one horrible experience to one that is hard to beat in your eyes. Are there any regrets that you have from the start of your pledging with TPX until now? A: Regrets...no ever choice I made whether good or bad came with change that bettered me as an individual. GS: I love that! You really sound like you're happy with your Organization. With that said, what advice would you offer to someone who is contemplating joining the Greek World? A: If you have a thought of joining a serious organization , where your willing to put forth the effort , determined to do better and remain motivated. Don't second guess yourself if TPX is in thought. To much to lose out on if you don't accept the opportunity. GS: Niceeee, lol. A: ty ty, lol.
GS: Before we conclude the interview, is there anything you'd like to speak about or loved ones to shout out? A: Sure. 1st I want to thank my wife for supporting my every decision. Umm my TPX Bros they made this as a whole a successful organization. And the staff of GS for allowing me to share. GS: You're quite welcome. We chose you because when we met you during your pledging process, you seemed so hard working and truly proud to be a part of the pledging process. So in actuality, this interview is our way of showcasing an example of truly going for what you really want. Working hard and enjoying the results of said hard work.

GS: What is your Fraternity name and your line number and name? A: The fraternities name that I am in is Theta Phi Xi, we don’t have line numbers because we have a lot of members and it can be a bit confusing, but my line name is King Tactless GS: Can you tell me how you got your line name like why you think it was chosen for you? A: I got my line name because I am a very blunt individual and I am quick to speak my mind without a thought. I don’t take no bs and when asked what we wanted our line names to be when I pledges I knew Tactless fit me perfect. GS: Can you give the Reader a little bio about yourself. A: My name is Roger but everyone calls me RJ , I am a chill person who likes to laugh and joke. I am 23 years old and reside somewhere in the USA lol. GS: Can tell the reader your name and what are some of your interests or endeavors your got going on right now? A: That’s pretty much all there is to know about me cant think anymore unless you talk to me then its different. I am in college and will be graduating pretty soon with a degree in Business Marketing. GS: Tell me a little bit about your own style. A: I don’t really have a style I pretty much just wear what I feel like from day to day. Its very versatile. GS: Where did you get your love for fashion? A: I honestly hate fashion I think the term is too specific because honestly I think clothes are a way of expression and fashion is just what’s popular.
GS: Tell us what’s your favorite article of clothing you own now either here on IMVU or in real? A: My fav piece of clothing well its an accessory is a snapback they go with everything I own tons here on IMVU and in real life. GS: Tell me your opinion on IMVU fashion. A: IMVU fashion is very repetitive people basically where the same pieces and look the same as well as dress. If you want to stand out the best advice is not to shop on the first page and dig deep. I definitely keep a look out for my boy Maejor and Vneck as well as Leriiche, Footlocker, its plenty to be honest you just have to know who makes the type of clothing you like. Frat wise I plan to keep doing what I'm doing and making more gear to have us stand out from the rest of these frats on IMVU. GS: And who are some of the developers in your opinion who we should be watching out for like up and comers? A: I really have a plethora of favorite developers. I like iish because she has the preppy type business casual clothes I wear sometimes. I recently and now is one my fav Leriiche his pieces are dope and have a new fresh swag to them. I also like Luxury his clothes are unique and I know I can find something different. That's just a few the list goes on.
