Chris Kanyane synthesizes Western, Asian and African perspectives on phenomena. Chris Kanyane’s goal is to provide us with a unique perspective, one that is not strictly Western or African but a synthesis of both. Chris Kanyane teaches, writes and consults on politics, psychology and history. Chris Kanyane’s writings have been presented in the New York Times as “Fresh voice. New perspectives". Chris Kanyane was also featured in the Reader's Digest, the magazine with 40 million people in subscription. In Reader’s Digest he has been presented as a writer who brought remarkable clarity to the meaning of Barack Obama on the global scale across the world – not just Americans. Chris Kanyane has worked as University Librarian at University of Johannesburg, Tshwane University of Technology and was also Chief Researcher at Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC). Chris Kanyane has a Bachelor of Library Science and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees.
