Design, tecnologia, ricerca e sviluppo Made in Italy Il rivoluzionario concetto di mimetismo che abbiamo sviluppato, nasce dall’intuizione di Massimo Quattrone di evolvere l’esperienza maturata dalle forze armate nel campo del mimetismo. La Salvimar, in collaborazione con la Antolas Design, ha condotto un’attenta ricerca tesa a scoprire come avviene la percezione della forma e come sia possibile ingannarla, piuttosto che inseguire la semplice mimesi dei fondali. L’esclusivo design Pixelcamu introduce una inattesa variabile in più nella percezione dell’oggetto osservato, confondendo la percezione della forma stessa. Infatti i mimetici tradizionali si limitano ad una imitazione dell’ambiente in cui vengono utilizzati. Nell’osservazione da vicino il Pixelcamu introduce un elemento di disturbo in più, dato dai bordi sfrangiati secondo una figura geometrica elementare come il quadrato che confonde il punto focale dell’occhio. A distanza invece, la ripetitività delle aree di colore segue una logica della geometria frattale, confondendo l’osservatore con una ripetitività di forme ricorrenti. Questi espedienti percettivi fanno si che l’attenzione dell’osservatore si concentri solo su di un’area, perdendo di vista l’insieme che pertanto risulterà occultato alla vista, con un’efficienza migliorata del 30-40%. La versatilità dell’esclusivo disegno Pixelcamu è facilmente riscontrabile su diverse tipologie di fondale e perfino a galla, dove l’apneista trascorre la maggior parte del tempo
Design, technology, research and development Made in Italy The revolutionary camouflage concept that we have developed comes from Massimo Quattrone’s intuition to translate the Army’s experience to set up a special pattern able to hide the spearfisher in every sea environment. Salvimar, in cooperation with Antolas Design, has undertaken an accurate research aimed to understand how shape’s perception takes place and how it is possible to deceive it instead of endeavouring the simple sea environment mimesis. The exclusive Pixelcamu design introduces an unexpected variation in the object perception confusing the perception of the shape itself. Actually the traditional mimetic wetsuit restrict their function to a simple imitation of the environment in which they are used. If observed closely Pixelcamu shows a new element that confuses the observer: the frayed hem that reproduces a simple geometrical figures like squares confusing the eye focal point. Instead from a distance the repetition of the colour areas follows a logic of fractal geometry, confusing the observer through the repetition of recurring shapes. The perceptive devices make the observer’s attention focused only on one area: while trying to perceive it, he loses sight of the whole and the final result shows that Pixelcamu’s efficiency is 30-40% improved. Pixelcamu design’s perceptive effectiveness and versatility can be easily verified in the different kinds of sea bed and even afloat, where the free diver stays most of his time

Dalle indicazioni progettuali di Massimo Quattrone, nasce il progetto Voodoo: un arbalete dinamico, in grado di soddisfare il neofita come il professionista con i suoi diversi allestimenti e grande affidabilità. L’impugnatura in nylon caricato vetro è resa straordinariamente ergonomica da un calciolo regolabile in gomma antiscivolo; grazie al profilo curvo ed i rilievi che ricalcano la struttura della mano umana, conferiscono un elevato comfort soprattutto durante la fase di assorbimento del rinculo. Il meccanismo di sgancio è del tipo “inverso” al fine di guadagnare centimetri utili di gittata, è realizzato con parti in acciaio e nylon caricato vetro, al fine di ottenere una robustezza ed una dolcezza di funzionamento senza pari. La corsa del grilletto è regolabile micro metricamente tramite apposita vite. Lo sgancia sagola dinamico, posizionabile sia a destra che a sinistra, non influisce sulla sensibilità del grilletto.
Per la prima volta in assoluto, su un fucile subacqueo, è presente lo Stecher System per la riduzione della corsa del grilletto: utilizzando il cursore della sicura prima dello sparo, è possibile far compiere al grilletto la corsa a vuoto prima del rilascio, così che il grilletto si verrà a trovare già pronto allo sgancio: una leggera pressione sarà sufficiente a far decollare l’asta! Il particolare profilo ribassato dell’appoggio sternale migliora ulteriormente l’ergonomia dell’impugnatura, conferendo maggiore stabilità al tiro, senza nascondere la visione e può essere facilmente rimosso e riposizionato senza attrezzi. L’asta e le gomme di serie sono ottimizzate per la lunghezza dell’arbalete e garantite Antolas Design. La precisione e la stabilità di tiro potranno facilmente essere verificate sulle vostre prede!
Accuracy, balance and maximum power High level performances, ergonomics, top grade materials, attention to the detail, design and innovative solutions merge in a totally Made in Italy production. The Voodoo project was born from Massimo Quattrone’s planning guidelines: a dynamic arbalete able to satisfy the beginner as well as the professional spearfishers thanks to its different arrangements and its great reliability. The nylon glass loaded handle is made extremely ergonomic by an adjustable butt in antiskid rubber. The curved profile and the hand shape made in relief on the handle assure a great comfort especially in the recoil. The trigger mechanism is the back type, in order to gain useful centimetres of range. It is made with part of stainless steel and nylon glass loaded in order to obtain extreme strength and maximum working smoothness. The trigger run is micro mechanically adjustable by the proper screw. The dynamic line release can be positioned on the right or on the left and does not interfere on the trigger’s sensitivity. For the very first time on a speargun you will find the Strecher System to reduce the trigger run: using the safety-catch’s slider before shooting it is possible to let the trigger run idly before its release; this way the trigger will be ready to the release and a light pressure will be enough to let the shaft take-off! The sternal lower support’s profile, is made to improve the handle’s ergonomic, giving more stability to the shoot without hiding the view, and can be easily removed and repositioned without any additional tool. The shafts and the rubbers supplied as standard equipment perfectly fit the arbalete’s length and garanteed by Antolas Design. The Voodoo’s shoot precision and steadiness will be easily verified on your preys!

Made of mixed fibres of high module and polymerized at very high pressures, its structural compactness is unequalled. Its bending is a parabolic curve that changes following the intensity of the blade’s movement so that it is possible to calibrate the elastic reaction on the moment needs. Trattenuta, ppenetrazione, precisione e robustezza Aste Torsion2 EVO “change tip” Idrodinamicità assolutamente migliorata, infatti non esistono parti sporgenti che possono creare attriti. Il sistema permette tiri velocissimi. La sezione non supera gli 7,5 mm di diametro, vale a dire 2 mm in meno del sistema tradizionale. Penetrazione sorprendente, l’assenza di gradini o asperità ottimizzano la capacità di penetrazione. Precisione garantita dal sistema a scomparsa, il profilo dell’asta non viene alterato. Trattenuta garantita da un’aletta robustissima di 1 mm di spessore che ruota di 360° sull’asse dell’asta e scorre su di essa per circa 60 mm. Foro di entrata ed uscita sul pesce piccolissimo grazie all’assenza di parti sporgenti. Robustezza, l’assenza del classico foro trasversale sull’asta normalmente usato per alloggiare il perno, aumenta la robustezza dell’asta proprio nel suo punto critico. Il sistema Torsion2 EVO può eventualmente essere sostituito facilmente. è sufficiente scaldare la parte conica o la punta portandola a circa 200°, a questo punto il collante utilizzato per l’assemblaggio perde le proprietà ed il cono può essere estratto. Una volta sostituita l’aletta si può nuovamente incollare il cono utilizzando il collante specifico
Retention, penetration, precision, strength Torsion2 EVO change tip shafts The Hydrodynamic shape has been improved, there are no protruding particles that can create friction. The system allows very fast shots. The section does not exceed 7,5 mm in diameter which is 2 mm less than the traditional system. Incredible penetration Precision is guaranteed by the floating system and the shaft profile is not altered. Retention is guaranteed by a 1 mm thickness strength barb. It rotates 360 degrees around the shaft and flows on it for about 60 mm. Small penetration holes on the fish due to the fact there are no protruding particles. Strength. The lack of classical cross holes on the shaft, normally used to assemble the pin, provides an incredible strength to the shaft in its critical point. The Torsion2 EVO system can be easily replaced. Slip-Tip BIG BLUE
Il nuovo arpione Slip-Tip BIG BLUE è stato progettato per ottenere il miglior profilo idrodinamico. La particolare forma dell’anellino di scorrimento per l’asta e il metodo di assemblaggio, consentono di sostituire il cavo in acciaio inox di produzione SALVIMAR; esso viene fornito con la piombatura su entrambi i lati e garantisce un carico di rottura di 270 kg. Per sostituire il cavo occore portare a una temperatura di 200° la parte della punta, disassemblare i due pezzi che compongono l’arpione, cambiare il cavetto usurato e incollare nuovamente le due parti utilizzando la colla fornita da SALVIMAR AE030/8. La confezione contiene: l’arpione BIG BLUE assemblato, 3 anellini per i diametri da 6,5 a 8mm, l’adesivo anaerobico, il cavetto di ricambio e 1 base con filettatura M7x1
The new harpoon Slip-Tip BIG BLUE was designed to get the best hydrodynamic performances. The slide ring shape and the assembly method allow to replace the stainless steel cable by SALVIMAR; it has the balls stop on both sides and it’s guaranteed for a maximum tensile stress of 270 kg. The cable can be replaced easily replaced. Heat the part of the tip until a temperature of 200°, remove the tip, replace the cable and assemble again usin the special glue provided by SALVIMAR AE030/8. This set includes: the assembled harpoon BIG BLUE, 3 slides rings for diameters from 6,5 to 8mm, the anaerobic glue, one stainless steel cable and 1 threaded plug M7x1
