FRIDAY, 4 OCTOBER 2013 11h00 (Main Hall) Welcome Brunch with the Rector Prof Brian O’Connell (Rector) will share UWC’s accomplishments and goals for the future. Alumni will be able to freely engage with our vision for ‘UWC in the 21st Century’, provide insight and support, and again participate in the growth of the University. 14h00 (Meeting Point: In front of Main Hall) Afternoon Campus Tour The informal afternoon campus tour will include campus landmarks and new facilities and showcase the expansion and growth of the University.

19h00 (Main Hall) The Langarm Dance Grab your boots and hat and join us for an exciting country & western-themed ‘Club 99 Langarm Dance’. Have a chat and a snack with old friends, raise a glass to fond memories and dance the night away to the classic sounds of Strand Combos Langarm Band.

11h00 (Main Hall) Brunch Conversations with Alumni Come reminisce with us and share your memories, experiences and stories of the 60s and 70s. This brunch will be filled with fun and laughter and will be used as an opportunity to record alumni history.

14h00 (Student Centre) Family Recreational Afternoon Bring the kids (and grandkids!) to see the Klawerjas and Domino players of the 60s and 70s battle once again. Those who enjoy making potjiekos can show off their skills in the potjie competition. There’s a wide selection of karaoke classics for the songbirds to enjoy and a jumping castle to keep the little ones entertained. All alumni welcome. 18h00 (Student Centre) 60s & 70s Party in the Student Centre Put on your dancing shoes and party to the old school classics of a live Jazz Band.

10h30 (Main Hall) Interfaith Service Join us for a Sunday interfaith service (officiating priests’ tbc) 11h30 (Main Hall) ‘Remembering Them’ Following the interfaith service, alumni will proceed to the ‘Wreath Laying Ceremony’ where we will remember those who have gone before and lay a wreath in their honour. 12h00 (Main Hall) Farewell Lunch Say farewell to friends and classmates while sharing a closing Sunday Lunch before leaving.
