its original soaring ceilings, historic glass lay light and chandelier, and 1888 trompe l'oeil decorative paint. A room that holds so much of Wyoming's history with women's suffrage and statehood deserved the grandness of this transformation.

INCREDIBLE TRANSFORMATIONS THE CAPITOL RENOVATION

#1 Properties took a tour of the newly renovated Capitol building and we were astounded at the incredible transformations. As we say in real estate, it's a must see! Location, location, location! Right in the heart of downtown, stands the fully renovated and breathtakingly beautiful new Capitol building. The regilded, 24-karat gold leaf dome is now visible from both a north- and southbound drive down Capitol Ave. Original charm meets modern efficiencies. The expansive list of interior updates features the restoration of historic decorative paint, discovery of original archways, and unveiling of covered windows. Yet, the unseen updates are equally as astounding. The infrastructure was renovated to include strengthened support and stability, all new mechanical systems, electrical, and plumbing. Natural light speaks wonders. From the giant new energy-efficient windows, to the restored Tiffany stained glass, the light from the

Don't miss the restored vault door paintings on the garden level, or the new bronze statues, "The Four Sisters" in the central rotunda. And be sure to keep an eye out for the upside-down staircase spindle! The most radically transformed room is the Historic Supreme Court Chamber. A previous renovation had added a partition wall, dividing the 2-story room in two distinct floors. It has now been restored to showcase

DIRECTIONS 1. Place potato pieces into a small saucepan and add water. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, and cook until potatoes are nearly cooked but still firm. Immediately drain and transfer to a bowl to cool. 2. While potatoes are cooling, prepare the spice mix + glaze by mixing together all ingredients. Set aside. 3. Toss chicken with half of the spice mixture. Divide the rest of the spice mixture between the potatoes and onions, toss gently to combine. 4. Thread the chicken, sweet potatoes, and onions onto the soaked skewers. Brush the skewers with half of the honey glaze. 5. Pre-heat the grill on medium heat. Clean and oil the grates. Grill the chicken skewers for about 8 minutes, turning frequently, or until chicken is cooked through. 6. Remove from the grill and brush on the rest of the honey glaze. Enjoy!

# localECONOMY Cheyenne recently landed itself on the top 10 list for growth and stability in the housing market. SmartAsset looked at data from 358 metropolitan areas in the U.S. over a 25-year span. They analyzed it based on two metrics, overall home value from the first quarter of 1994 through the fourth quarter of 2018 as well as stability, or the “probability that homeowners experienced a significant price decline” within 10 years of buying a home.

Although we snuck in right at the bottom, the numbers speak volumes. Home values have increased 170% over 1. Boulder, CO the past 25 years in 2. Midland, TX Cheyenne. Plus, there has been no volatility, 3. Austin, TX with a 0% chance of the average home 4. Fort Collins, CO losing at least 5% of its 5. Bismarck, ND value within 10 years of its purchase! 6. San Francisco, CA

7. San Jose, CA 8. Denver, CO 9. Houston, TX 10. Cheyenne, WY

These are definitely factors to consider if you're weighing your options between renting and buying.
