CHEYENNE FRONTIER DAYS TM

Daily rodeos, Frontier Nights® concerts, Western Art show, Cheyenne Day, USAF Thunderbirds, carnival, and so much more! cfdrodeo.com

Cheyenne welcomes visitors from all over the world during Frontier Days. In order to give them a little extra taste of the west, there are a few simple things you can do to dress up your front porch with some western flair. There is no need to spend a lot of money to spice up your decor. Many of the items can be found at garage sales, thrift stores, flea markets, or even old items you may have lying around the house. Start with your bigger items and get creative! These can include vintage worn-out suitcases that you can stack, a rocking chair that you can add a fun throw pillow to, or even and old screen door that you can hang a wreath on. Next, add medium sized items. An old wagon wheel that you can lean against your wall, milk cans that you can add sunflowers to, or even a bale of hay.

The smaller items will be the cherry on top! You don’t have to over do it, but adding a few of these pieces can really take your front porch back to the old west. These can include a worn out pair of cowboy boots or an old cowboy hat. Wood signs, red bandanas, lanterns, or western stars. Maybe even an old rope, barbed wire, or any other western decor items you may already have! We would love to see what you come up with! Take a picture of your front porch, post to Facebook or Instagram and hashtag #1OldWestFrontPorches.
