Your Local Family Magazine

March 2022

Edi t orsLetter EditorsLetter Welcome to our March Edition of Your Child in Whittlesea, I am enjoying dropping my daughter off at school again and seeing all the excited faces of the children heading in for another day’s learning. Then at pick up time watching her walk out chatting away with her friends about what they are heading off to do after school, or making play date plans for later in the week. The magazine this month has some great reading, on page 10 ‘Returning to exercise after giving birth, has some useful hints to get you started. We have an interesting article about Creating a Sustainable Garden, on page 22 and Parties with More Dash then Cash can be found on page 18. Teens and Homework, on page 10, I found it really interesting, especially now that I have two teens and I don’t really knowing where to start to help them with their homework. Hannah has been out and about creating a new park adventure at Norris Bank Reserve, this month. The park is always a fantastic place to venture out with your children either after school or on the weekend, especially with all the lovely weather we have been having. Hanging with Hannah can be found on page 25. Kids Corner is on page 26 and has a Autumn Cross Word Puzzle to do and if you feel like cooking, check out Kids Cooking Time where Mini Chef Jade is making Chocky - Chunk Brownies, on page 27. What’s On this month - Clean Up Australia Day Sunday March 6th, there are two sites happening in the local area. If you have some time why not drop by and lend a hand. There is also a special Pop Up Bush Playgroup taking place down by the Laurimar Creek Conservation Reserve and the Council has the annual Community Festival on in South Morang, more details can be found in the What’s On section page 24. Till Next month .....

Stay Safe, Rachel.
