The Power of Positive Thinking - How to Stop Negative Mind Chatter This is the ninth of my compilation of eighteen excuses people normally use, consciously or unconsciously that will decelerate or eliminate their probability of becoming successful in different phase. Mind Set is definitely a substantial section of success development. That through strategies such as this and Personal Development can be fun. Now even though I've played and loved music all of my life, I've never really taught it, although I've taught on a great many other subjects - communication skills, creativity, accelerated learning, yoga, meditation, team work, peace studies and a number of other topics. Also my previous teaching/training was to adults mainly inside corporate world. It was very enjoyable in the most part, paid well but there wasn't much happening there now. Drug addicts and compulsive gamblers embody a considerable kind of short-term mentality. Their world is bound to what may happen in the next hours or minutes. Their minds tend not to register the physical and financial consequences of these actions. Their numbed sensitivity ignores danger signals. Their grasp of reality has shrunk to the minimum. Warnings cannot reach their ears.

By forgiving, we allow healing, growth, as well as a new strategy for seeing. It provides a powerful 'shift' in the way you view yourself, others as well as the world. Many people believe by forgiving somebody that hurt them terribly, they may be essentially saying: "What you did is okay." This isn't the situation, if you forgive, you're really saying: "What you did just isn't okay, but I forgive and release you so that I no more carry all of the effects of your movements." 3. STAY IN YOUR POWER Stay inside your own power by letting go of things outside of your control and by doing so on the things as part of your sphere of influence. Many times, we experience disappointment because we are aiming to others for results. Ask yourself, "How can I make my desire happen?" Or, "Is this a


thing that I really don't possess control over and I'd be better off letting go of others' results?" By smashing the pattern of disappointment and asking questions, you happen to be tapping into an exceptional power as part of your brain. In fact, positive psychology research has shown that when our minds are kept positive, these are physically more capable of finding answers. Staying in your power and communicating with them keeps your mind positive and active.
