The Inspection, which took place in February, reported that ‘The quality of the pupils’ academic and other achievements is excellent’ and, ‘The quality of the pupils’ personal development is excellent’. Following the Inspection process which included parental, student and staff surveys, staff and student interviews, as well as observations of lessons and daily life at the school, the inspectors reported that, ‘Pupils make excellent progress, achieving at levels in advance of expectations for their age and ability’, ‘Pupils are outstanding communicators’, ‘Pupils develop highly effective study skills (and) are highly enthusiastic learners’. Along with excellent academic results and an impressive list of Senior School destinations and Scholarship Awards, Laleham Lea Catholic School is also known for and is proud of its pastoral care which was praised by the inspectors who commented that, ‘The quality of the pupils’ personal development is excellent’, ‘Pupils have high levels of self-understanding for their age and show notable resilience’, ‘Pupils show outstanding respect for each other and are highly inclusive’ and ‘Pupils develop good relationships and demonstrate excellent social skills’. The Catholic life of the school was also recognised by the Inspection team who reported that, ‘Pupils show excellent development of their spiritual understanding in their everyday lives’. Laleham Lea Head Teacher Ms Barry said, “I am delighted with the findings of the Inspection Report which validates the tremendous hard work of our students, Staff and Governors. Vivace gymnastics club was established in 2017,
We are based at Bullers Wood Girls School, and we teach children from 3 years through to young adults both competitive and recreational gymnastics. We also run before school and after school gymnastics sessions within many Junior and secondary schools across the Borough. We are extremely happy at our current venue but wanted to be in a position to offer a more varied timetable of gymnastics classes to more of the children within our local community. We are very excited to announce that we are opening a designated gymnastics centre in Bromley 196-198 high street, opposite the unused side entrance/ exit of Primark in Church road. Our new centre is scheduled to open 27th June and we wanted to tell you all about the club and our new venue and what classes we will be offering. Vivace Gymnastics offers a place where people can learn gymnastics, meet new people, have fun and feel comfortable. The purpose is to teach children gymnastics, with safety always the highest priority. The mission is to create classes in which children experience happiness, the joy of movement, and the satisfaction of success. In a fun and exciting format, children are challenged to think and then respond with purposeful controlled movement, thereby improving sensory functions and developing a positive self-image and gymnastics ability. Vivace’s core messaging is to offer equal professional gymnastics coaching to a wide range of children, regardless of their capabilities, disabilities and specialism. With the main objective being to take all children to the peak of their ability, by the club and its coaches investing into each and every child equally, regardless of their standard and capability. Our new dedicated centre in Bromley is specifically designed for our early learning, key stage 1 and key stage 2 children, offering a range of gymnastics classes for parent and toddler, pre-school right through to year 6 children. We have development pathways for our members once they move into key stage 3 education where we will offer spaces within our current location which is at Bullers Wood Girls school (10 minute drive maximum) If you would like to find out more or are interested in joining us here at Vivace Gymnastics club.
