RESEARCH The designer Matteo Thun and his creations/ products
MATTEO THUN Italian architect & designer His vision, he says, is not his but that of Ettore Sotsass (his teacher) and comes down to the fact that the designs must be one with nature. He will always use the aspects from his Memphis Group period in his work, being working with color, surface ... In 1982 he designed a series of white porcelain with bizarre shapes and cloudy motifs and teapots with unusual shapes. Materials used are ceramics, Murano glass, white porcelain. He has partnered with brands like Illy, Porsche, Alessi, Philips Electronics and Hugo Boss.
